August 10th.  Huh, it's been awhile.

The comments only make it worse. If you watch really closely, you can see Fif-- BAD WEEGEE

EDIT: The competitive SSBB community in a nutshell:

The most ridiculous rule has to be the one about smash balls.  If you aren't fast enough to claim it, tough.

That seems silly. Do many states have so few attractions and/or such wacky local politicians that this is a common thing? I don't seem to remember ever seeing anything that reads "I was in the state governed by a terminator" in any gift shop anywhere in the 'Lifornia

Guess we're too busy being stereotypically awesome to bother with things like that. Driving red convertibles, surfing to town, etc.

I was kind of young at the time, but I remember when I saw a piece of merchandise with a caricature of Jesse Ventura (who, as some may remember, was actually voted in as the governor of Minnesota).  It said "Our governor can beat up your governor."  Yeah, Minnesota has a great track record in politics (not trying to insult any particular party, just going off of the "wacky local politicians" comment).

Whoa...I haven't been here in awhile.  What happened?

I don't have my first class tomorrow, which means I'm free until noon.  What am I doing to celebrate?  Watching a baseball game that should have been over about 4 hours ago.  Thanks to a rain delay and a tie game, the Angels and Red Sox are still playing...in the 12th inning.

I agree with CrossEyed.  This has the most impact on anyone who actually lost a loved one on that fateful day 10 years ago this year.  I understand that it might be wrong to celebrate the death of another person, but it's not like I was going to act like nothing ever happened.  Even though I was only 12 at the time, I was deeply affected by the WTC attacks.

I agree with PL.  The Kai soundtrack was awesome.  It's too bad the composer had to go and do this.

The perfect therapy for Friday exposure is listening to "Working for the Weekend" by Loverboy on repeat.

I hope that's the case.  Even I wasn't that much of a spaz when I first joined the forum.

Well, now I know what not to do if I ever do reviews for a newspaper/website.  On a side note, this would have set off my (now non-existent) Nintendo fanboy rage back in the day.

I make it a habit to raise a Butterfree whenever I play a Pokemon game in which Caterpie are available.

Oh, and Gen IV: Luxray and Lucario.  Shinx was the first Pokemon I caught after a long time away from the franchise (I don't like to speak of those days anymore), and Lucario is just awesome.

For perhaps the first time in my soon-to-be 8 years on this forum, I actually remembered Mario day.
