You know, I think I am going to take a few of these comics, and a few of the original Jim Davis strips, and make a quiz to see if anyone can tell the difference between them.

Oh, and ya. A few more.

They're all random.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

Well, obviously. That wasn't the quiz.

In the actual thing, I'd change the backgrounds of all the panels to be the same, remove random ones where multiple panels have dates, etc.

Oh. I think that Jim Davis makes the background colors in the panels all different, anyway.

For me the second and third are the best.
I'm a horrible person.

All these strips I have read before.
That's why when i was still new, I have talked about "Putting The Peanut Butter Before Putting The Toast in The Toaster".
Hey, is toast toast before you put it in the toaster, or is it just bread?

It's just bread.

When's the last time you saw a Garfield with the suction cup paws in someone's car?  I can't recall seeing one for at least a decade...
Today's actually... nobody's birthday!  Quick, hurry up and make a baby!

I noticed that yesterday's Garfield is equally funny no matter which order you put the panels in. There are six possibilities. 3,2,1 is my favorite.

I think 3-1-2 sets up the punchline a bit better, personally. With 3-2-1, 1 isn't really necessary.

Good find and astute observation, though.

Yeah, but the reason I like 3-2-1 is that the pathos of a newspaper "comic" ending with both characters just sighing about their miserable lives delights me. 1 is quite necessary in that respect.

If you click on the link in the first post, you will now find that the Garfield Randomizer has been shut down by a lawyer at PAWS Inc. This is very sad, especially considering that we had lots of fun using it.  The HTML code is still available from the page. I would set up a page with the code, but I fear legal action from PAWS Inc.

I bumped this to mark the end of an era. *sniff* :'(

EDIT: Turn down your volume before going there. It can be loud.

Oh, so EBaum's World gets its own TV show by stealing things, and that, one of the greatest websites ever, apparantly run by a college student with no desire to gain from it, gets shut down?

Fwegh.

Paws Inc. will never find you if no one links to you.

EDIT: Whoa, I like the new version of the site, too. :)
