See, my post was funny, clever, edgy, and ironic because it was a parody of the argument used in gun-use controversies: "Guns don't kill people, people kill people."

I'm saying that triggers are only spam machines if people spam them.

A tip for anyone who feels the urge to make triggers: Switch to Quassel or something else that isn't mIRC or XChat (latter only if you know one of the languages it supports; if you don't, feel free to use that client). We don't want to deal with your lame scripts, and if you're in a client that doesn't support making or running them, we won't have to.

I'm in Iowa until Thursday. They still don't have Internet beyond dial-up at my cousin's house, and their new computer runs Vista, so I don't expect to be using any computer aside from my netbook very much...but I'm sure I can find someone's unprotected wireless connection close by if I walk outside, right? Right?

Even if I can't, not having Internet access means I'm not being distracted from playing through games and watching stuff, which is nice. It also means I'm not at all tempted to load up MapleStory, which is very nice.

Uhhmmmmm,

I dunno, I'm like, the most lenient easiest-going-on dude. There've been several I've not kicked when they deserved it. I certainly don't just express my displeasure of everything and say "I wanna kick you" at the drop of a hat. I need a reason. If this happened, maybe there was an ongoing reason (I don't carry from forum to chatroom so don't try that one)? Think of that? And if this happened yesterday, I wasn't even here.

I'm sick of the higher-ups here and in #tmk being painted as fascists of some sort. I'm sure it's funny for you guys, but we're people too.
