Title: Why is there no betas of Mario games?

There are 6 dumped and released Sonic betas(Sonic 2, Sonic CD 510 and 712, Sonic Studium(AKA Crackers), SegaSonic Arcade and Spinball) but there is only one known existing Mario beta(US SMB2) and no dumped one.
