It's a fun story to follow; that's for sure. The characters are amazingly endearing and funny. It's actually a very inspiring series to me, as a writer. I'll definitely try to keep up to speed with this.

Latest News / Re: Nintendo announces new Yoshi and Mario games for Wii U

This is just me, but I highly doubt the "all new 3D Mario" is going to be remotely related to Galaxy or 3D Land. It'd be a complete waste to push for a sequel to either on a brand new system. Really exciting stuff, all the same.

That Yoshi game is suspiciously similar to Epic Yarn (understandably, duuuuuhhh), but if any other franchise would take the torch from Kirby, it would have to be Yoshi. Given the bizarre, colorful, arts-and-crafts style that are Yoshi platformers, a yarn-based game actually makes plenty of sense.

Custom titles are given by mods after a user has established something about themselves. They're usually "funny."

Mine has changed a couple times; now it's just a reference to my username. Welcome!

EDIT: I wrote this before seeing Weegee's post, and I refuse to alter my post (besides by doing this) just because of that. ;)

haha, I almost always pick the water starter. That's a definite one for me, although the fire starter looked really cool too.

I only recently got into Pokemon in the past couple months, but even I know that Pokemon X/Y is pretty much exactly what fans have been asking for. Except of course, having an adventure title on a home console.

Looking forward to it. Since my brother is also very interested in this one, we'll probably do it like we did Black/White and pick one for each of us. Right now I'm leaning more toward X, if only for the Legendary.

I recently changed my signature to a YouTube comment I found on a Mario video... I found it funny because I read it wrong the first time.

"Looks like 3 Sony fanboys scratched their discs."

Speaking of writing books, my parents told me one of their presents to me is that they'll pay for a copyright on my book.

That's at least one small step in the direction of getting my book published! I'm still completely unsure of how I want to go about doing that...

LD: Subtly discourages children from playing video games. Congratulations; I never realized it could be done whilst playing video games!

As for me...

BOOKS:
Bloody Times (James L. Swanson)
Word Up (Actually... it's like "adult Mad Libs")
Conflict & Suspense (James Scott Bell)
Merriam-Webster's VISUAL Dictionary: Second Edition

Misc:
Clothes
Shoes
Men's Cologne/Aftershave
Wii U Pro Controller (I really need ZombiU apparently)

On the whole, I got some pretty good stuff! We'll see what happens when I visit the rest of my family toward the end of the year.

I'm sure they are. I watched the preview video; it looks like something to help put your fist through a wall... I'll be buying it at some point in the near future.

Not at the Dinner Table / Re: What's your opinion on swearing/cussing?

I don't, and I've never really been tempted to use it in my normal language. I have used it before, but it never felt right.

Words are easily manipulated, and it doesn't bother me that in front of certain people you can only use certain language. People take the words they use too seriously, and unless you're being deliberately insulting to someone with it (and you shouldn't), it shouldn't be a big deal.

Ah yes, that sounds about right. This is just me, but like the Kirby stage that looked like a woman, I don't think that was an accident.

Maroon kind of reminds me of the years back when I tried to dye my hair red; in a weird kind of twist, I was playing soccer for the YMCA back then, and my hair turned out the same color as our jerseys.

I've been playing Black and Platinum a lot lately. I finished Black, but somehow I suck at the other. Soul Silver looks really cool.

Also, transfers are pretty cool.

... Also, I think the most obscene "Pokebutt" would be something along the lines of Diglett or whichever two look the most like either set of male/female anatomy... I forget.

Octopus Dance is a lot of fun, but since I only recently have been able to play my Wii U again, I'll have to give the games some more time before I make my decision.

I enjoyed Balloon Trip too; the others I never logged much time into in the first place.

I'll second LD's confession; I do it all the time as well.

I don't know why... I guess it's just a habit that's harmless enough to not screw up my play-throughs.
