Can't believe I forgot... today is Mario Day (Mar10)!
Unless you are cloned, you do not need to look like a midget version of your dad. Okay Bowser Jr.?

You DO realize that this is out of date in my time, considering that I live in an Eastern Time Zone.
Plus, this thread will soon be irreverent anyway, no matter where.
Actually, it is now. March ELEVENTH, 2010.
Kick! Punch! It's all in the mind!

Bah. I somehow forgot about Mario Day.

Then again, I did try to play NSMBW every chance I got yesterday. Make of it what you will

I thought there was a standard thread for this...

Well, anyway, I remembered this in advance, then forgot about it on the day of until that evening, and was promptly ashamed.

I herefore declare a ratings system of "how long before you got the joke". Slow, Idiot, Moron, and Tonto. I'm around "Moron" for this one. I totally didn't realize Mario = Mar10 until just now.

I was first made aware of the occasion in the fifth or sixth grade, but nor have I remembered it since then.

I remembered, but seeing as I was busy that day, and thus far away from my computer until the evening hours, I didn't bother.

I told my friend about it a couple days ago and he began puzzling over what "3/10" had to do with Mario (he speculated it was some odd sort of mustachioed emoticon at first).

...And now it's Pi Day.

It would have been the Pi-eclipse at 3:23:53 AM today.

Personally I can't wait for the first anniversary of Garfield squishing Jon's character in a videogame.

For perhaps the first time in my soon-to-be 8 years on this forum, I actually remembered Mario day.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

I forgot again! Even though I was recently reminded! Ah, well, I'll be sure to listen to some Mario tunes later today.

I tried to do a warpless run of SMB3 to celebrate this year. I gameovered on Bowser's Castle, at 2 1/2 hours. I lost my last life to the spinning disco ball waffle things when I realized that I forgot to get the 1up mushroom at the beginning and tried to go back for it. Now I'm too tired to play anything else.

This week I moved about 1000 miles away and can't find any of my Nintendo consoles.  My daughter just got into Animal Crossing on DS is that counts.  If I recall correctly the town is TMK.  Anyone still have a town to go online with?  My daughter really wants to visit someone.

I don't think Old DS has wifi anymore. They shut down the servers for DS and Wii games recently (ironically called the Legacy Servers).

Unless someone also with ACDS is in the same room with her, nobody will be able to visit.
