Post by: Kojinka on April 18, 2011, 01:47:24 PM: Looking at the naming pattern of previous Mario Karts, only two of them were given [something else] subtitles (Super Circuit and Double Dash!!). The rest of them just had the name or something thereof of their respected platform slapped on to the title (Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Arcade GP, Mario Kart DS, and Mario Kart Wii). As much as I'd like to see [something else], the 3DS Mario Kart will most likely be called either Mario Kart 3D or Mario Kart 3DS.

Also, not having "3D" in every title is nice. Whenever I see "3D" in a game's title I instantly associate it with [dukar]ty PlayStation 1 games.

I associate it with Duke Nukem 3D, personally... Mario with a Devastator on Hollywood Holocaust, anyone?
