Video Game Chat / Stupid Gamepro Nintendo "figures"

Hi. I bought one of the Nintendo figures sponsored by Gamepro based on the Gamecube games. I got it home, and I found out it was a bendable, not a figure! I got it for $7.99. The guy at the store told me it was priced wrong, and it should have been $12.99 instead! What a rip! I'm not buying any more of those collectibles if they're not even poseable. I mean, Sonic can't even be displayed on the stand properly! That's nuts! Nintendo's collectibles are getting really cheap now. They didn't used to be that way. Who agrees? Has anyone else seen these?

General Chat / Is there a reason for all the HTML here?

I've noticed there's been a lot of HTML in these posts lately. Is there a reason? Do people want their messages to look fancy? Or do they just need to show off their HTML prowess? Just wondering.

Video Game Chat / Gamecube's Dying

For those of you that haven't heard, (those of you who won't say, "We already know" that is) There was a recent news report from the head of Nintendo saying that the Gamecube would probably be the last system they would make, because the system didn't sell as well as expected. Probably because everyone has to wait so long for their games. And, there's only a handful of good titles for it. I think they should have stuck with N64. Everyone was used to the cartridge format from Nintendo, and they came out with more familiar titles for it. Oh well, I guess they've still got GBA to fall back on....

Mario Chat / Sappy Nintendo Commercial

Hi. Did anyone see that crazy Mario Sunshine commercial? Did anyone else find it extremely dumb and sappy(game photos excepted)? I think Nintendo's losing it as far as their commercial-making skills go. Do they honestly think that's going to sell their game? Crazy!

Hi. Would anyone here like to see any of the Final Fantasy series (PS and PS2 excluded) done over on GBA? Since Square and Nintendo are on good terms, these could be a possibility.

Mario Chat / Super Mario 3 for GBA

Hi. I've seen a few members mention on this board that they feel SM3 should have been released for GBA instead of Super Mario Advance. I, too, feel that a lot could have been done with this title on GBA. Advanced graphics, better music, etc. What do the rest of you think?

Hi. I'm new to this forum, and I'm a big Final Fantasy fan. I'd love to see Final Fantasy 1, 2, or 3 ported to GBA, since Square and Nintendo are on good terms again. What does everyone think?
