has anyone ever beaten the actual super mario brothers game for the NES talk ta me if you have ive tried it takes forever and i dont think ive finished it

Has anyone actually beaten "The Lost Levels" for N.E.S.? Do they let you continue? Otherwise I don't see how it could be humanly possible to beat that thing, even with warping. There's, what, like 150 worlds you have to beat or warp through? It boggles the mind!

By the way, I've played the original "Super Mario Bros." since '86 and I've never beaten it. I can get to 8-4 without warping, but I've never made it to Bowser.

I did beat Lost Levels, although it was for Super Mario All-Stars, so that would make some difference...I think..
SMB is a tough game for NES, but it is possible to complete it. I owned the game, so I played it alot when I had free time.
Lost Levels gets challenging on 8-4, but I beat it eventually. It said something like, "You have mastered Luigi!". I was all getty..hehe..

Which games have I beaten... which games have I beaten... well, I've beaten SMB without warping, I've beaten SMB2 with warping, and I've beaten SMB3 without warping. I haven't beaten SMB2j because I don't own a Famicom. (I wish I did.)

I beat the Lost Levels without warping, SMB 1 without warping, SMB 2 without warping, SMB 3 without warping(duh), SMB RPG 1 and 2, and Super Mario 64!!!!!

ive beaten smb(with warps) smb3 without super mario rpg super mario 64 (no codes) and i almost beat mario is missing

I've beaten the Lost Levels (without warping) and got the 4 worlds after the 8th (A, B, C and D). I've also beaten SMB without warping.
The untold agent is among you.

Oh yes, and to gloat some more, I've also beaten SMBTLL four times. Two with warps(both negative), and two without.
Woohoo.
EdIT: Well, at least as far as THOSE four are concerned. (Heh heh)

It's...Been along time since I've played it for the NES. However, I've beaten it lots of times on the SMAS.

Smb? NES or SMAS, that game is childsplay.(well,to me,that is) and all I ever do on either is try to beat my highscores(I got 2 million something once)
although I consider myself a pro, its only in games I ever played,(except for Mrpg)I've beaten! Smb, Smb2, Smb3, SMW, SMBLL,MIS,M64.......the list is endless.
