Mario Chat / Re: Yoshi? Homo***ual?
« on: March 04, 2002, 07:53:58 PM »
I seriously doubt that. Have there been any american video game in history that have homo***ual characters?

Video game companies, especially Nintendo, would never put in homo***ual main characters due to people's homophobia.

This only applies to America, though. I don't know about other countries, but Japan has some homo***ual games. A magazine I used to read called EGM talk about it for a little bit when some kid said that he wanted all of the japanese games to be deliver to America.

Besides Mario, eh?

Well then, just look at the first part of my signature signature. It's a Shigeru Miyamoto quote.

Me:Oh, and Lietenant Eagle? You are right! I made a terrible mistake. The background music is suppose to decreased and increased. I accidently thought that the owl said to follow his hooting instead of the sound of Saria's Ocarina. Oh, and I gotta go now. It is hard to talk when you are hiding in a bomb shelter in front of the Microsoft building. *Gets back to shining Link's Master Sword while Captain Nintendo throws a grenade in the 5th floor of Microsoft*

Captain Nintendo:What?! The Pikmins have been hurt THAT badly?! That's it, time to bring in the heavy artillery! Lieutenant Eagle, send in Mario to lead the fight! I will send in Kirby to swallow everyone up, so that the path will be clear when Link comes in with the Master Sword.......*Smirks evilly*

Me:Miyamoto-sama will kill us for letting the Pikmins get hurt........

Bob.

Yes, you are likely to learn Epona's Song after Saria's Song. But that is if you haven't already learn it.

Epona's Song is one of the optional one. Thus making it so that you can learn it right after you get Zelda's Lulluby. You can learn any of the optional songs once you get Zelda's Lulluby.

I've only said that you are more likely to learn Epona's Song after Saria's Song because learning Saria's Songs is a requirement and it is easier to learn. And Epona's Song is easier to learn than the Sun Song or The Song of Storms.

And yes, Shiek does teach you songs. As a matter of fact, she teaches you five of them.

Oh, and Cable04? After you got the Goron Tunic and went into Death Mountain, you are suppose to go to The Fire Temple next.

Mario Chat / Re: Super Mario Brothers 3 VS. Super Mario World!
« on: March 02, 2002, 09:18:18 PM »
Super Mario 3 is much better than Super Mario World in my opinion, and I will explain why in a review.

_____________________________________________
Super Mario 3

Graphics(10) -  For a game on the NES, this thing had some great graphics. It was detailed just enough for people to marvel at it.

Sound(7) - I would have probably given this part a 10, but I NEVER really care about the sounds in a game unless it is extremely annoying. However, ths music and sounds in this game are different enough to not irritate you and so that you actually enjoy it.

Gameplay(10) - With more transformation than any other Mario game so far, this is a great game for any Mario fan. Not only transformation, but also a lot of side games such as matching cards, make pictures connect, and open a chest.

Replay(10) - Since this game actually gives you many choices, like having the ability to not play some levels, it will have massive replability.

Value(10) - This is the top-selling game in history. That should give you a clue as to how much it is worth.

There, now for Super Mario World.

_____________________________________________
Super Mario World

Graphics(10) - Some very good graphics for such an early game. Nice details to the level and objects.

Sounds(7) - Same thing with Super Mario 3

Gameplay(9) - I would give it a 10, but I must admitt, the difficulty gets excessive sometimes. I couldn't even get past the third castle! And also, some levels at the beginning is extraordinarily hard, while some levels near the end is incredibly easy.

Replay(10) - Find all of the secrets in this game will keep you coming back for more!

Value(10) - One of the top-selling game on the SNES. Does this give you a clue?

There, those are my reasons. Sorry if I'm not specific enough.

Mario Chat / Re: Deathmatch

Shigeru:Link slowly unsheathe his Kokiri Sword and pull out his shield...

Hiroshi:Mario slowly pulls out a mushroom from his pocket....

Shigeru:Links jump towards Mario with his Kokiri Sword! *Whisper to Hiroshi* Do you think we should be letting a 10-year-old Hyrulian kid fight an adult plumber?

Hiroshi:Mario eats the mushroom and he is not only instantly bigger, but also stronger! *Whisper back* Who cares?! Lets just watch the fight!

Shigeru:Link drove his blade right through Mario's body, and Mario is down!

Hiroshi:Oh, what a short fight, and Link is raising his sword in victory.

Shigeru:But wait, where is Mario.

Hiroshi:Hmm, I don't kno-Oh wait, there he is. Right below Link's legs.

Shigeru:Is he smaller? And is he alive?!

Hiroshi:I don't know and I don't really care, but it seems that the fight is still on!

Shigeru:Wait.....what the 'Nintendo' is he eating? Is that a giant flower?!

Hiroshi:And he is big again! But not just bigger and stronger this time, but his clothing is different!

Shigeru:He is getting up, and it looks like he is preparing to attack Link from behind!

Hiroshi:And he shoots.......a fireball?

Shigeru:*Squinting his eyes* From his hand?

Hiroshi:Link is hit! And his wooden shield burns down!

Shigeru:Not only that, but he is now running around slaping his butt trying to put out the fire on himself! It's really too bad that he doesn't realize that the fire is on his hat, and not his butt!

Hiroshi:Now Link to panicking really bad! And he drops to the ground and starts........crying?

Shigeru:Oh 'Donkey Kong'! Mario made Link cry! What will Mario do now?!

Hiroshi:Will Mario burn him to dust with another fireball or will he help Link?! I personally think he is going to help Link.

Shigeru:'Luigi' yeah!

Hiroshi:*Looks at Shigeru* Geez, you're cussing a lot today.

Shigeru:*Blushes*

Hiroshi:Anyway, it seems as though Link is still on the floor crying and now he is calling for......... his mommy?

Shigeru:*Wiping a tear from his eye* Poor kid.

Hiroshi:Mario is just standing there confused as to what to do, and it might just be a draw if Mario decides to give up and help the already down Link!

Sgigeru:But wait, who is that coming in from ringside? Is that Princess Toadstool and Mario's old girlfriend, Pauline?

Hiroshi:Yes, it is!! Peach is picking up Link while Pauline is yelling at Mario for hurting children?

Shigeru:Now Peach and Pauline are walking away while cuddling Link! But wait, what is that look on Link's face?

Hiroshi:He stopped crying and is now......smiling?!

Shigeru:It seems as though Link was faking all along! And now he is getting cuddle by Peach and Pauline.

Hiroshi:And Mario is STILL standing there looking confused!

Shigeru:So.......who wins the fight?

Hiroshi:Well, Mario wins the battle, but he lost the war.

Shigeru:..............This fight is 'Yoshi' up!

Hiroshi:Yes, Shigeru. It is 'Koopa' up.

Shigeru:Anyway, join us next time for Donkey Kong Vs. Crash Bandicoot! We promised you this will be the fight of the century!

Hiroshi:Yeah, just like how we promised the same thing for this fight, and the one before that, and the one before that, and the one before that.........*He continues on*

Announcer:This fight was brought to you by Microsoft. XBox shall rule the world!

*Read all of the posts*

God God!!! How in the Mushroom Kingdom did you people even pick up the NES controller, nonetheless play Super Mario, at the age 2 or 3??!!!

Man, no wonder people knew Mario better than Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny back then....
