Say, say, my playmate
Won’t you lay hands on me?
Mirror my malady
Transfer my tragedy
Got a curse I cannot lift
Shines when the sunset shifts
When the moon is round and full
Gotta bust that box, gotta gut that fish

My mind's aflame

We could jet in a stolen car
But I bet we wouldn't get too far
Before the transformation takes
And bloodlust tanks and
Crave gets slaked

My mind has changed my body's frame, but God, I like it
My heart’s aflame, my body's strained, but God, I like it
My mind has changed my body's frame, but God, I like it
My heart’s aflame, my body's strained, but God, I like it

Charge me your day rate
I’ll turn you out in kind
When the moon is round and full
Gonna teach you tricks that'll blow your mongrel mind
Baby doll, I recognize
You're a hideous thing inside
If ever there were a lucky kind it's
You, you, you, you

I know it’s strange, another way to get to know you
You'll never know unless we go, so let me show you
I know its strange, another way to get to know you
We've got ‘till noon, here comes the moon
So let it show you
Show you now

Dream me, oh, dreamer
Down to the floor
Open my hands and let them weave into yours
Feel me, completer
Down to my core
Open my heart and let it bleed onto yours
Feeding on fever
Down all fours
Show you what all that howl is for

Hey, hey, my playmate
Let me lay waste to thee
Burned down their hanging trees
It's hot here, hot here, hot here, hot here
Got a curse we cannot lift
Shines when the sunset shifts
There's a cure comes with a kiss
The bite that binds, the gift that gives
Now that we got gone for good
Writhing under your riding hood
Tell your gramma and your mama too
It's true, true, true, true
(We're howling forever)
(We're howling forever)
We're howling forever

I am almost masochistically entertained by playing this on GH5--in any case, I find the subject matter inherently cool for some reason (though once I better understood what the lyrics were, I became strangely paranoid that this song was on the soundtrack for New Moon).

Halls of Justice Painted Green
Money Talking
Power Wolves Beset Your Door
Hear Them Stalking
Soon You'll Please Their Appetite
They Devour
Hammer of Justice Crushes You
Overpower

The Ultimate in Vanity
Exploiting Their Supremacy
I Can't Believe the Things You Say
I Can't Believe
I Can't Believe the Price You Pay
Nothing Can Save You

Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real

Apathy Their Stepping Stone
So Unfeeling
Hidden Deep Animosity
So Deceiving
Through Your Eyes Their Light Burns
Hoping to Find
Inquisition Sinking You
With Prying Minds

The Ultimate in Vanity
Exploiting Their Supremacy
I Can't Believe the Things You Say
I Can't Believe
I Can't Believe the Price You Pay
Nothing Can Save You

Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real

Lady Justice Has Been Raped
Truth Assassin
Rolls of Red Tape Seal Your Lips
Now You're Done in
Their Money Tips Her Scales Again
Make Your Deal
Just What Is Truth? I Cannot Tell
Cannot Feel

The Ultimate in Vanity
Exploiting Their Supremacy
I Can't Believe the Things You Say
I Can't Believe
I Can't Believe the Price We Pay
Nothing Can Save Us

Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real

Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real

Such true lyrics.

Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
'Neath the halo of a street lamp,
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence.

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence.

"Fools" said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Take my arms that I might reach you."
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the wells of silence.

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made.
And the sign flashed out its warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the sign said, the words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.
And whisper'd in the sounds of silence.

You can't complain about factories leaving town, when there's not one around
Just an empty room full of dogs laughing and pointing you down
You don't know what I mean

If there's something wrong with being involved, tell my agent
He's between these fingers
A supporter of all that's bona fide
Unquestionable lies

Do you mind if I stand here and look like you?
Four out of five ain't bad
Some would say good
I would

Overrated like the word
I'm feeling sedated
This is absurd

Can I stop trying now?
I need to sit down

Nasally, I challenge you to a duel
I'm not kidding
Then let's make a pun about sense
Survey says I can handle more than you
I'm not kidding
Let's drop the talk and put “number five” on the line tonight
Five bucks say I'm right

Do you mind if I stand here and look like you?
Four out of five ain't bad
Four out of five ain't good either
Some would say good
I would

Overrated like the word
I'm feeling sedated
This is absurd

Can I stop trying now?
I need to sit down

Anosmium created on a whim
Discover the state of awareness that it puts you in
Darwin's acting gay
Giggling in his grave
Opening champagne
This day

“Can you smell the irony?”
“I can't say that I can”
“That's right, you're not enlightened like the rest, anomaly at best”

I like it jaded, I like it numb
I appreciate appreciating anosmium
Hold your breath and look around
You're still in the same town

Overrated like the word
I'm feeling sedated
This is absurd

Can I stop trying now?
I need to sit down

Her green plastic watering can
For her fake Chinese rubber plant
In the fake plastic earth
That she bought from a rubber man
In a town full of rubber plans
To get rid of itself
It wears her out, it wears her out
It wears her out, it wears her out

She lives with a broken man
A cracked polystyrene man
Who just crumbles and burns
He used to do surgery
For girls in the eighties
But gravity always wins
And it wears him out, it wears him out.
It wears him out, it wears…

She looks like the real thing
She tastes like the real thing
My fake plastic love
But I can't help the feeling
I could blow through the ceiling
If I just turn and run
And it wears me out, it wears me out
It wears me out, it wears me out

And if I could be who you wanted
If I could be who you wanted
All the time, all the time
Oh, oh…

Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching
In the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin', somewhere in the night

Workin' hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win
Some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching
In the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin', somewhere in the night

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlights, people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on
Streetlights, people...

Do guys sometimes ironically sing that song, really dramatically and spontaneously where you live, or is it that just a local thing?

Despair up to the point that they provoke
The punchline before they have told the joke
The sheer desperation to be seen
Staring at the television screen

Despair up to the point that they provoke
You to tell the ****ing punchline before you have told the joke
I'm sorry sunshine, it doesn't exist
It wasn't in the Top 100 list

And it's the thousandth time and it's even bolder
Don't be surprised when you get bent over
He told ya, but you were dying for it

She saw it and she grabbed it and it wasn't what it seemed
The kids all dream of making it, whatever that means
Another variation on a theme
A tangle on the television and the magazine
D'you reckon that they do it for a joke?
D'you reckon that they make 'em take an oath?
That says "we are defenders
Of any poser or professional pretender around"

When did your list replace the twist and turn?
Like a fist, replaced the kissed-on concern
And if you're bothered, I don't want your prayer
Save it for the morning after

And it's the thousandth time and it's even bolder
Don't be surprised when you get bent over
He told ya, but you were gagging for it

Lets have a game on the Teddy Picker
Not quick enough can I have it quicker?
Already thick and you're getting thicker
Lets have a game on the Teddy Picker
Not quick enough can I have it quicker?
Already thick and you're getting thicker

Asuming that all things are equal,
Who'd want to be men of the people
When there's people like you?

No, it happens here as well. Doesn't help that our school plays music between classes instead of bells, and that song's been on the playlist recently.

Grim-faced and forbidding,
Their faces closed tight,
An angular mass of New Yorkers
Pacing in rhythm,
Race the oncoming night,
They chase through the streets of Manhattan.
Headfirst humanity,
Pause at a light,
Then flow through the streets of the city.

They seem oblivious
To a soft spring rain,
Like an English rain
So light, yet endless
From a leaden sky.

The buildings are lost in the limitless rise.
My feet catch the pulse and the purposeful stride.

I feel the sense of possibilities,
I feel the wrench of hard realities.
The focus is sharp in the city.

Wide-angle watcher
On life's ancient tales,
Steeped in the history of London.
Green and gray washes in
A wispy white veil
Mist in the streets of Westminster.
Wistful and weathered,
The pride still prevails,
Alive in the streets of the city.

Are they oblivious
To this quality?
A quality
Of light unique to
Every city's streets.

Pavements may teem with intense energy,
But the city is calm in this violent sea.

I feel the sense of possibilities,
I feel the wrench of hard realities.
The focus is sharp in the city.

You lucky *******. Anyways, we occasionally burst into a rendition of Taylor Swift's "Our Song", provided that the mood is right. However, such is not an appropriate time, and I shall instead post something completely different.

Well, it's a marvelous night for a Moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
And all the night's magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush

Can I just have one more Moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with you, my love

Well, I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait 'til the morning has come
And I know that the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true, dear
There and then I will make you my own
And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that you can't hide

Can I just have one more Moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with you, my love

Yes, it's a marvelous night for a Moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
And all the night's magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush

One more Moondance with you in the moonlight
On a magic night
La, la, la, la in the moonlight
On a magic night
Can I just have one more moon dance with you
My love.

She's got tattoos and piercings
She likes Minor Threat she likes Social Distortion
My girl's a hot girl
A hood rat who needs an attitude adjustment

Christina, wouldn't wanna meet her
She hates you Britney, so you better run for cover
My girl's a hot girl, a riot girl, and she's angry at the world

Emergency, call 911
She's ****ed off at everyone
Police rescue, FBI
She wants a riot, she wants a riot

And everywhere we go, she gets us thrown out constantly
But that's okay 'cause I know, I know, I know my baby would do anything for me
Yeah

Christina, wouldn't wanna meet her
She hates you Britney, so you better run for cover
My girl's a hot girl, a riot girl, and she's taking on the world

I said
Emergency, call 911
She's ****ed off at everyone
Police rescue, FBI
She wants a riot, she wants a riot

She wants a riot, she wants a riot

Oooh oooh oooh
Oooh oooh oooh
Don't ya know that all I really want is you
I got it all and all I really want is you

Emergency, call 911
She's ****ed off at everyone
Police rescue, FBI
She wants a riot, she wants a riot

Emergency, call 911
She wants a riot, she wants a riot
Police rescue, FBI
She wants a riot, she wants a riot

I wouldn't mind as long as she paid her own bail.

Hot August night
And the leaves hanging down
And the grass on the ground smelling sweet
Move up the road
To the outside of town
And the sound of that good gospel beat

Sits a ragged tent
Where there ain't no trees
And that gospel group
Telling you and me

It's Love, Brother Love, say
Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show (halle, halle)
Pack up the babies
And grab the old ladies
And everyone goes
'Cause everyone knows
Brother Love's show

Room gets suddenly still
And when you'd almost bet
You could hear yourself sweat, he walks in
Eyes black as coal
And when he lifts his face
Every ear in the place is on him

Starting soft and slow
Like a small earthquake
And when he lets go
Half the valley shakes

It's Love, Brother Love, say
Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show (halle, halle)
Pack up the babies
And grab the old ladies
And everyone goes
'Cause everyone knows
'Bout Brother Love's show

(hallelujah)

Brothers! (halle hallelujah)

I say brothers! (hallelujah)

Now you got yourself two good hands (halle hallelujah)
And when your brother is troubled
You got to reach out your one hand for him (hallelujah)
'Cause that's what it's there for (halle hallelujah)
And when your heart is troubled
You gotta reach out your other hand (hallelujah)
Reach it out to the Man up there
'Cause that's what He's there for (halle hallelujah)

Take my hand in yours
Walk with me this day
In my heart I know
I will never stray

Halle, halle, halle, halle, halle, halle, halle halle...

Love, Brother Love,
Say Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show
Pack up the babies
And grab the old ladies
And everyone goes

I say Love, Brother Love,
Say Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show
Pack up the babies
And grab the old ladies
And everyone goes...

You used to get it in your fishnets
So now you only get it in your night dress
Discarded all the naughty nights for niceness
Landed in a very common crisis
Everything's in order in a black hole
Nothing seems as pretty as the past though
That Bloody Mary's lacking a Tabasco
Remember when you used to be a rascal?

Oh that boy's a slag
The best you ever had
The best you ever had
Is just a memory and those dreams
Not as daft as they seem
Not as daft as they seem
My love when you dream them up...

Flicking through a little book of sex tips
Remember when the boys were all electric?
And now when she tell she's gonna get it
I'm guessing that she'd rather just forget I
Clinging to not getting sentimental
Said she wasn't going but she went still
Likes her gentlemen to not be gentle
Was it a Mecca Dobber or a betting pencil?

Oh that boy's a slag
The best you ever had
The best you ever had
Is just a memory and those dreams
Weren't as daft as they seem
Not as daft as they seem
My love when you dream them up
Oh, where did you go?
Where did you go?
Where did you go? Whoa

Falling about
You took a left off Last Laugh Lane
You were just sounding it out
You're not coming back again

Falling about
You took a left off Last Laugh Lane
You were just sounding it out
You're not coming back again

You used to get it in your fishnets

Somewhere in space, this may all be happening right now.

Hello, technical surveillance, This is U.N.K.L.E. 77, I'm requesting permission to land. Do you copy?

Roger that. You're clear for landing. Position (garbled) five-seven-zero-niner.

Waiting for power.

We're under attack! (garbled) Class A fighters. I need immediate assistance. I need you to (garbled) over the alert, we've got to get out of here!

Styles like Al Pacino, Reno until the Barcelino
The mad Dino with the bambino, the Gambino
Bigger than Jim Colosimo, more reservoir dogs than Tarantino
Scales for Venezuela, brown as nino
Making the block hotter than jalepenos
G. Luciano, be wettin' [dukar] like Pesci in Casino
Fifty dollar cigar seer, the Bosnia, the mafia
Don poet like Garcia
Drug Czar and the baby-Pa beater, the M-8 behind the bar-freer
The Poconos, the Panama skier
Down with the parmesan, ready to bomb like Vietnam with arms
'Cause the hollow-points and phenomenon
The cheddar-spreader, the killer with the gold Beretta
*****s deader
The sweater-letter with the hollow letter
Drama-setter
The Paneretta gettin' redder kids and momma shredder
Infrared glow off the armor better
The godfather, the problem solver, coming through with the 6-shell revolver
Hot as lava
Gun skills that real and in the 'ville I be the barber
Gangster saga, the motha****in' face carver

Give you a dose of [dukar] that's dope as soda
The underworld family Cosa Nostra
Pearl handle inside the shoulder holster
G. Luciano with a click but nothin' but *****s & Chicanos
You get hit up like Castellano
Italiano like crime familia, ***** don't get familiar
Me and my goons might have to kill you
Up in New York, we play bloodsports at home court
And hold down forts
Soon as ya caught, get your dome torched
G Rap and DJ Shadow leave your bone squashed
Squeeze the chrome short, take no shorts
We judge and jury in the home court
Give you the clown corpse dead on the sidewalk
Surrounded by mad pedefors
Your whole frame laid in the white chalk
You got the smoking section, first-class tickets to resurrection
Forever destined to a place where *****s never restin'
Headed in Hell's direction, lost at the crossroads and intersection
Should've wore a vest for chest protection
Slug fill you to capacity, someone at the dance
Someone with the hand velocity of Butch Cassidy
***** ***** with the audacity to blaspheme me
Got yourself caught in a motha****in' tragedy

Word

Drums of death

(garbled) I'm hit in my left-front stabilizer! I'm switching circuits to calculate, but it's gonna take some time. I need those fighters to fire some rockets. Stay on target... (garbled) I'm losing stability! I can't shake him! (garbled)

This is onboard mission control, notifying central MCP. We have lost contact with U.N.K.L.E. 77. We have lost... (garbled)

Other pleasures
And I've known many
Afternoons in warm Venetian squares
Brief encounters, long siestas
Pleasures old and new
Can't compare with you

You amaze me
Where did you come from?
You do things champagne could never do
Crystal winters
Crimson summers
Other pleasures
I would trade them all for you

Pleasures old and new
Can't compare with you

Wild mimosa
The scent of evening
Shuttered rooms with sunlight breaking through
Crazy soirees
Lazy Sundays
Other pleasures
I would trade them all for you

Sailing off in the night on a silver lake
Taking more from this life than I ought to take
Other pleasures
I would trade them all for you.

My aunt would sing this to me when I was a little kid.
