A paratroopa is a Koopa troopa with wings. They might as well be the same character.

Screech, their are many creatures of the Koopa Troopa species, not just one. So it doesn't matter if they are the same character. Besides, Toad and Koopa Troopa have nothing in common. They couldn't be partners.

I guess Toad and Toadette are a humaniod mushroom. But actually Toadette was a first appearing as a new character.

Baby Mario and Mario are the same people. They probably used a time machine to get Baby Mario to participate in all these events. LD, I'm talking about Mario, not Luigi.
