I hate to bring this back up, but the supposed L is Real texture was also in Ocarina of Time.  That texture is the reason I first came to TMK and joined the forums.  I wonder if Deezer still has the email, or was it a post on the forums?  Hmmm.  Also, if the texture said something I would expect it would be in Japanese anyway.

I think the programmers reused the text as a gag.

  • Type "love tmk and mario" or anything  in the order "xxxx xxx xxx xxxxx" in Windows Notepad.
  • Save the file.
  • Open it.

Edit:  I tried "SM64 has not Luigi", but caps and numbers don't appear to work.
Edit2:  [12:46] <Deezer> works for me <Luigison> "sm64 has not luigi"

That Pikachu mask was called the Keaton Mask, and it actually made its debut in OoT.

What? I already knew about that message, but what exactly do you mean about freezing the game?

tap the cartridge while it's showing the message to stop the game it might work.

Uh, tapping the cartridge at any time on any game will cause it to freeze. I know, I once had a few unfortunate accidents.......

It probably doesn't mean anything. It just serves as an intro.
