I propose that the "no insulting mods" rule be changed to either "no insulting anyone" or to do away with the rule entirely. What do you think?
-
Am I allowed to toss out a few last putdowns and hurtful remarks before that happens?
-
feel free but not to me
HEY that rhymes
AAAGGG my jokes stink

you just insulted yourself!
banned banned banned banned banned banned
-
besides yourself
-
I propose we ignore this proposal. Aye?
-
Its unfair if mods can insult people and normal users can't without getting banned
-
The nice ones don't.
-
Yeah, but the others?
-
What others? :V
-

I don't know whose side you're on anymore.
-
I, for one, don't mind being insulted now and then. </sarcasm>

Insults are relative. If you take out overt ones, passive-aggression would skyrocket. I would in fact say the "no insulting mods" rule should be gone. It's common sense and common courtesy to assume that insulting people won't fly and having a specific group marked as a no-insult zone has a bad implication.
Breaking explicit rules isn't the only way to get banned. It's also not instantaneous if you do. I'm not the head honch but my code is that if the forum in general wants something, they should have it. I work for you.

I work for you.
/\ Sounded like a particularly fiery campaign speech, BP. You have my vote.
BP for FF Senator!
