Hmm.  New games weren't up when I just checked, but the first day I could get WiiWare games before 6AM Pacific.

I wonder why the name is so much different from the names in other regions.

Uh...it's not appearing on my Wii Shop Channel...

Try checking at 12 or 12:30. That's when I get my stuff usually.

I deleted my message too. (BTW, who directs that Bomb to appear? Is there somebody who checks all the embarrasing messages, and offers a Bomb?)

Dr. Mario is a great game, although, it STILL has that infuriating learning curve. I beat Level 4, and then went online. Some Japanese player kicked my [rumpus]. Oh well, back to the leap between 4 and 5...:P

You just get it automatically, every user gets one for every post, to delete it if they don't want it (it's only for the user so nobody cand delete it except you.)

Can someone give me some good reason(s) to download this? I have the GB version and I don't like it, and it's kind of hard...(And I don't know how to play it right)

It's got nice 3D graphics, and the online play is awesome. It also has more modes than the original. And more music.

I love the Virus Buster mode, but I have to get used to setting the capsules in and triggering the chain reactions just right.

Does this have the Flash mode from Dr. Mario 64? That's all I really care about.

I never played Dr. Mario 64, but it sounds like Flash mode is the same as Tetris Flash (also called Tetris 2) but with capsules instead of Tetris blocks; if it is, then yeah, it better have Flash mode, or else I'm completely skipping out on this game when I get a Wii.

There is one virus of each color that's extra bright neon color and you win when you eliminate all three of them. Nothing else matters. I don't know what Tetris Flash is.

I never cared for Dr. Mario at all until playing a bunch of 4-player Flash mode at college on my Dr. Mario 64 turned out to be some of the most fun gaming of my life.

I still don't think regular Dr. Mario comes anywhere close to puzzle games I actually like, such as Puzzle Fighter, Meteos, or even Lumines.

I agree; I wouldn't say Dr. Mario is as good as Meteos, but since I never owned Dr. Mario, I've had a pretty good time with this. I've only ever played Dr. Mario at one of my old youth pastors' house.

LD, that's exactly what Tetris Flash is, and it is indeed some fun gaming that makes me wish my two copies of the Game Boy version hadn't gone missing and also that more Game Boy games supported four-player multiplayer (although there was that one that had 16-player deathmatch if you had enough cords...Faceball 2000 was basically as awesome as green-and-lighter green FPS could get).

I wonder why the name is so much different from the names in other regions.
In the last years, various Mario-related games have been released with very different names in North America, Europe and Australia. Super Mario Strikers/Mario Smash Football, Mario Hoops 3-on-3/Mario Slam Basketball, Yoshi Topsy-Turvy/Yoshi's Universal Gravitation, Donkey Kong Barrel Blast/Donkey Kong Jet Race, to name some titles. For Europe, the title is sometimes even translated into more languages. In this case, the newest Dr. Mario is known as "Dr. Mario & Bazillenjagd" in my language (German).

Salamander and Life Force aren't actually quite the same.

I think Life Force was an upgrade kid for Salamander (even though they are pretty much the same except for backgrounds and Life Force used the Gradius power-up system.)
