Uhh...okay, groovy! ;)  Well, I haven't been able to play Animal Crossing for a long time. (My Nintendo privilages are still taken. My mom says I may get it back this weekend, though! Yay!) While I don't know what I can trade yet, I'll just give my name and town for now.(and yes, I have 2. Heehee).

Yay! I got my precious Gamecube back!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! ...Sorry. Anyhoo, I have a Ringside Seating Wallpaper, if anyone wants it.  Impress me with something YOU have and I'll give it to you. Right now I'm particularly looking for a Big Bro's Shirt or Li'l Bro's shirt. If you don't have it, show me something else. :)

I know this is a trading post, but do you allow stolen goods, i.e. universal codes and items received with a Replay cheat?

I dunno. I don't care personally, although the only times I'd even use a UC (universal code) would be if that item is close to impossible to obtain otherwise. *cough*Gracie brand clothing*cough*  ...I don't think they have UC's for those, tho. Sigh.

*I* don't cheat, but if others do, it's none of my business. :)

"Jen of Spazvile" is messed up.

Sadly, I use universal codes all the time, especially the 100 Turnips one.

I made that town messed up on purpose. Heheh... My goal was to make it the worst town possible. I even cut down *ALL* the trees!! Heeheehee! ...It was my stress release. I had to buy about 20 axes, though. StarHill's my serious town.

Yeah, I guess some, but let's use them sparingly, as this is mostly a trading post. Mostly.

I have a complete Cabin Series, most of the backyard theme, and several items from each series (except Snowman, Harvest, and Spooky).

Here's my info:

Name: Nicholas
Town: Onett

Get the Golden AxE, it's INVINCIBLE!

Post by: Sapphira on April 18, 2003, 01:05:12 PM
Yay! One more piece and my Blue Series will be completed! Oh, I figured out *why* I can't get certain clothing. A lot of them are seasonal.

I'm so happy! It turns out their *ARE* UC's for Gracie's clothing! (This'll be the only thing I cheat on consistantly.) She is IMPOSSIBLE to please! Lousy little....

Anyway, what Blue piece do you need?
And also, does anybody have any Modern stuff?

And my info:

Title: Re: Animal Crossing Trading Post
Post by: Sapphira on April 18, 2003, 10:12:45 PM
I need the Blue Dresser (lottery).

I have over half of the Modern Series. Let's see...I have the Bed, Chair, Desk, Lamp, Table, and Wardrobe(Redd). I'm not collecting those, so I wouldn't mind trading. Just tell me which of those you need.

If you don't mind, I'd like the Chair, Lamp, and Wardrobe. I already have a fair collection of Modern stuff, but those will make it more complete, obviously.
Title: Re: Animal Crossing Trading Post
Post by: Sapphira on April 18, 2003, 10:19:09 PM
Okay. BTW, I'm collecting the Classic Series, which is horribly incomplete. I need all but the Bed, Clock, Sofa...and cabinet I *think*.

I'll give you the codes for the Modern items you need once my brother gets off the downstairs TV (which has the GCN).

Well, since I haven't had Gamecube since January 25, I'm going and backtracking all the days until I catch up. I last left off on Feb 1, and the next time I play it'll be earlier than 7:00 AM for Groundhog Day, regardless of the actual time. Until I catch up, time will travel to whenever I want! Weren't it for the fact that Nook's is closed right now, I could get the code.

Or, if you're the "unscrupulous" type, I'm sure there're universal codes around...  If not, I can get it to you tomorrow.

Erm, hi.

Sorry to interupt but could I ask for some advice? I am not lucky enough to have animal crossing (living in the UK). I am very close to getting an American version (about £40-£45 with delivery) and freeloader, a UK/US/JP converter (£30). This will cost me a lot so what I want to know is is the game worth the bother (and the money I will have to pay)? Should I wait for animal crossing 2 instead (If that makes it to the UK)?
Serious advice or a cheaper alternative would be nice, please. Thanks.

Post by: Sapphira on April 21, 2003, 10:49:24 PM
Shouldn't it come out in Europe? I honestly can't answer for you. I really love AC, but if you're patient, you might want to wait for AC2, whenever it comes out. I guess it comes down to: is it worth the wait or is it worth the money? I'm not stating an opinion, just giving you the facts.

BTW, thanks so much for the Arwing, Fifth. My HRA points are almost up to 100,000! Yay!
(Of course, every square inch in my max-sized house is covered in furniture. They don't make the houses big enough.) Anyway, I'll be happy to repay you w/ something.

Hm. 45 pounds is more than $50, isn't it? Plus you have to get all that other stuff... umm... well... It's very fun, but I don't know if you'd personally be happy with your investment. I'd say go ahead and get it, if it won't make you go broke.
I don't know if you should wait for AC2 or not, because I don't know what it's going to be like.

Also, Is there any universal codes or "mail out" codes for Donkey Kong 3?

I thank you for any help.

Master Sword, anyone?

What I want now is the Modern Series, Cabin is cool, but it reminds me of winter.
This is what I need (if anyone actually cares):

Modern End Table
Modern Table
Modern Dresser and/or Wardrobe (I'll check on that)
Modern Rug (or whatever it's called)

And remember, once I get all the Modern stuff, I have all my Cabin Stuff, AND IT MUST GO (to Tom Nook, or you)

Name: Danny
Town: Gusten (I moved into my little brother's town)

I'll be willing to trade anything for the shirts (including the spade, club, diamond, and heart shirts, full collection!)  but the gyroids are the only thing keeping my house rating from dropping below 3000 :(
You can see my problem.
Anyway, I neeeeed bells baaaad!  I gotta pay off my 2nd loan so I can get a basement!  Practically, anything worth something is good.

Plant trees of fruits not native to your town, then sell the fruit (and keep planting more, too). Also, pick up seashells on the beach and sell them. Do chores for neighbors and sell stuff they give you that you don't want. Catch fish and sell 'em. Sell fossils you've received back from the Farway Museum.

If you're REALLY, REALLY desperate, you can always use the 100 turnips code and sell 'em. You can only say up to 3 codes per day, though. (Yes, I admit, I now cheat by using the 100 turnips code whenever the price gets really high. Thanks to CW for that little tip...) Ahhhhhhh!!! I'm corrupted! Ah well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. :)

Yes. So can dressers. They can also hold other stuff, like umbrellas and stationery.

(Heheh...After having the game for one month, I already had my house upgraded to the max. Now I have over 2 million Bells in the bank!!)

Woohoo! I'm so happy! Yesterday I finally got the Golden Axe! Perfect town for...however many days required!!

Anyway, those are the fastest ways I can think of to get money quickly. Just be patient. Heheh...I only have 2 pear trees now (my native fruit)--one I still need to replace w/ another tree. I STILL haven't gotten any oranges, though. Plenty of peaches, apples and cherries, but *NO*, no oranges. </sarcasm>

What I'm looking for are the lottery and Redd items. --or ones that are really hard to obtain that you can't reorder from Nook.

Oh, and I'd still like an orange. Then I'll have all the fruits! (That didn't sound right. lol) ...Except coconut, of course.

Mario Master, in some places trees have a harder place growing. If you're trying to get a perfect town, you have to have 7-14 trees in each acre. If you can't seem to get enough trees to grow in an acre, plant flowers. They'll count as trees.
Basically, it's hit and miss. Keep trying to grow 'em. What also tends to work is replacing an old tree (no fruit or native fruit) for a different fruit tree.

No, what I meant was if I try to plant a fruit or a golden shovel tree then it dies!  Even a bell tree dies!

It happens to all of us. Oh, and Bell trees only give Bells one time. Then they become normal trees. So don't waste your money.

As for the golden shovel...all I can say is keep trying. It worked the first time for me. (And I still have a pretty golden tree!) I think there's a UC for it if you're REALLY desperate. If a glowing spot is touching a tree or rock, a golden tree will have a harder time growing.

Well I planted it in the middle of nowhere and it died after 2 days!  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it's not working!  I dig up on the gold spot, and I buried a shovel there.  The next day, the leaves are wilting and have holes in them.  I can't get any fruit to grow in my town either!  Other than apples, NOTHING WORKS!!!

Well, your town must be jinxed.
Seriously, if you want another type of fruit, chop down an apple tree and bury another fruit in the same spot. So far with me, it's guaranteed to work.

Mario Master, do you have your items in your house arranged according to color?  Do you have junk all on the ground outside?  Have you pulled up all the weeds?

All of these things and more affect your luck growing trees.  Also make sure your trees aren't planted beside anything.

Clothes should be put away in dressers and wardrobes, or left in your basement or outside, or else you'll lose HRA points. I'm not sure how it affects Feng Shui, though.

For good Feng Shui, place furniture in specific areas inside your house:
green stuff at bottom
yellow stuff in the west
red in the east
orange at the top

The letter after D is a capital i, not lower-case L.

Anyway, you don't have to get me anything. But I *AM* looking for a Mario or Luigi Trophy and a Blue Dresser and Classic Hutch/Table/Vanity. Any of those would be nice. :)  I'll get your Tile later.

2 G i 9 D z T z Q 8 A 2 4 i

The only thing that was wrong was the first character (it was a b that looked like a 6.)  The first l is a lower-case L, the second I is a capital i.
