Wave Race: Blue Storm

Game Boy Advance:

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising

Wow, each post is going to be long...;)

And, Chupperson Weird, on your Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, have you found that weird cheat where you get into the secret room with a bunch of blue rupees and a message from some guy? I heard that a long time ago that you have to either dash from one place to the castle really fast, or fall down a certain hole when fighting Ganon. Do you know what I'm talking about?

I don't hate Halo. In fact, I love playing Halo at Halo parties with 16 people and CTF. That is a most enjoyable time.

Khold: Well, the games have added up over the past... 12 years for me. Several of those SNES and GB games were bought used and really cheap. And no, I don't have a DS yet, but hopefully will have one soon.

Yoshi55, don't speak on behalf of the entire FF.

I don't hate Halo; in fact I own Halo for PC.  I don't consider it to be part of my official collection, since I got it free with some hardware and all I have is the CD in a paper sleeve.  Only games for which I (still) own the box and manual are part of my official collection.

And I eventually plan on getting AC:WW, too, but no clue when. There are other games I want more, so they take higher priority in getting, or something.

I want Spyro: A Dragon's Tale!  Haha!  Why, you ask?  Because I used to love that first game when I was younger (flying around and what not) and I want to see how old Spyro has changed over the years......  plus he's an awesome dragon!
I can't really think of too many Mario games that I want this year, though..

By the way, is it possible to buy The Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition new? I bought a GameCube while the deal was going on, but I forgot to ask for the game... :( I'm just curious, because I also can't find my old Zelda: Master Quest edition, neither. I have Majora's Mask on the 64, but my controller is messed up.

Indubitaly! SSBM is the best non-bloody or relly violent game ever! And, its only for the GC! Not GCN.

It's GCN(GameCube Nintendo) because GC is Gameboy Color, and NGC is short for a slang saying, which I refuse to say. :-\

GameCube = GCN
Game Boy Color = GBC

(GCN stands for GameCube Nintendo, because they changed it from the Japanese acronym which is indeed NGC.)

You people need to learn your three-letter acronyms.

If you don't have Super Smash Bros. Melee, there is something seriously wrong with you. It never gets boring. I could attack defenseless CPU players all day...
Geez, you've got a lot of games
Huh, I guess I do. I'm going to have so much more when the REV comes out and I download games like crazy. *hopes the downloads will cost little or no money

Edit: Oh yeah! I forgot about SMBDX! Great game, it sucks that the DS won't play GBC games... Stupid plastic, I think Nintendo just did that to annoy us.
Title: Re: Your game list

I barely play some of these games anymore, which is too bad. I'm addicted to MKDS and Pokemon Emerald.
Title: Re: Your game list
Post by: BP on December 30, 2005, 02:29:12 AM
I want to play some SNES games, especially SMK, I've never unlocked Special Cup... But as you may already know, I'm SNES-Controller-less at the moment. Gotta buy one, should buy 2 for multiplayer, or for backup. Maybe I should get a 64 controller too, seeing as I only have one (functional, at least) and I haven't played multiplayer SSB or MK64 for a long tme. In theory I have 4 GC controllers; A working Wavebird, a half-disfunctional Madcatz controller, the regular kind with sticky buttons and sticks (freak soda accident) and a Wavebird (from Wal-Mart) that just doesn't work.

And my GameBoy controllers, you have to listen to me ramble about that too.

Yoshi X2 (1992)
Yoshi's Cookie (1993)

Games for SNES, N64, and Gamecube will not be listed because of laziness and the fact that I love NES more than the 3. X2 means I have 2 copies of it.

Unlike most people, I'll play and beat games over ten times! I don't really get bored of the same game. Yes, I would like to have the sequel, but I just don't get bored. Or mabey I get so bored, that all I do is play the same game. :D In Majora's Mask, I played and beat it eight times today! I beat Super Mario Sunshine twelve times yesterday, and Super Mario 64 DS four times a week ago.

Does anybody else play and beat the same game over three times?

Oh. See, when I beat a game, I remember what to do in the games.

1. I copied it off my IGN list.

2. Knock it off. If that's your opinion, good for you, but there's no need for you to constantly say it.[

I'm getting a bit sick of the constant every-other-system-that-isn't-a-NES bashing, as well.

Yeah, he needs to grow up, and this is coming from someone who used an object that's often used as immature jokes by children as his username.

"Grow up" isn't really the right term... more like "gain acceptance for things that have happened since 1980." Glorb's over here trying to get us to appreciate XBOX 360 and Yoshi55 won't even consider giving a nice comment to the SNES. I'm not trying to kill you, either.

You mean the game or the member? Well, they're both kool, so it doesn't really matter. :P

PC:
StarCraft Battle Chest
Diablo II
The Orange Box*
SPORE
Hellgate: London (good thing I couldn't do online play anyway, eh?)
BioShock Limited Edition
Quake III Arena
Starsiege: Tribes*
Magic Carpet Plus
Duke Nukem 3D CD (includes Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem 2)
Lords of the Realm II
LEGO Star Wars
MapleStory*
Robot Arena
Pac-Man: Adventures in Time
Some stupid generic sudoku thing
Psychonauts
Civilization III*
3D Ultra Pinball: Thrillride
Tetris Worlds
Forgotten Realms Classics (a collection of a bunch of Forgotten Realms DOS games; IMO, the only good things in it are Dungeon Hack and Blood & Magic)
Some sort of paintball game
Icewind Dale II
Pong
Missile Command
Combat
Midway Arcade Treasures
Konami Collector's Series: Castlevania & Contra
Test Drive
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life
Abra Academy: Returning Cast
Glyph
World of Goo
Trials 2 Second Edition
Civilization III Complete
Civilization IV Complete
X-COM series
Audiosurf
Counter-Strike + Condition Zero
Eets
Eternity's Child (still blame Sunbun!)
Half-Life
Opposing Force
Blue Shift
Team Fortress Classic
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
HeXen
HeXen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel
HeXen II
Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders
I-Fluid
Prey
RIP Trilogy
Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold
Blake Stone: Planet Strike

Games marked with an asterisk are marked as such because even though I own them through Steam (the Orange Box, Civilization III due to Civ3 Complete) or they're free downloads (Tribes, MapleStory), I own disc versions. I'm not counting games I have but don't own (meaning stuff like Jagged Alliance 2 or the WarCraft III Battle Chest, which I borrowed from my uncle - though I do own the soundtrack for the latter) or free games I don't own on disc (such as Red Alert or StepMania).

DS:
Scurge: Hive
Puyo Pop Fever
Meteos
Tetris DS
Elite Beat Agents
Clubhouse Games (This is a tricky situation. I bought the game for Kalee, but then her younger brother broke her DS. Until she finds his, the DS is sitting on my desk, with the game in it. I don't play it, but I'm counting it in my games for whatever reason.)
I used to own Pokémon Diamond, but that's a bad story I don't want to go into again.

GB/C:
Tetris
Tetris Blast
Tetris Plus
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
R-TYPE DX
Qix
Elevator Action
Burgertime Deluxe
Not listing any I can't remember.

GBA:
Wing Commander: Prophecy
Phalanx (port of the SNES version, minus the cool boxart)
Bomberman Tournament
Classic NES Series: Bomberman
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (it's almost exactly like Diablo!)
Pinobee: Wings of Adventure
Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Metroid Zero Mission
NAMCOMUSEUM (my dad also has a copy of this, and there's a third copy somewhere in this house)
Pac-Man Collection (actually my dad's, but it spends most of its time in my game collection)
Astro Boy: Omega Factor
Pokémon LeafGreen

I used to own approximately three times as many GBA games. I also have an e-Reader and several NES games, plus like five of the Air Hockey cards.

NES (note: this is mostly from memory, since my games are for the most part scattered around in my room):
StarTropics
Metal Gear
Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Rock-n-Ball
Blades of Steel
Tetris (three copies)
Super Mario Bros. 3 (three copies)
Heavy Barrel
Xenophobe
Adventure Island
Dr. Mario
Spy Hunter
Donkey Kong Classics
Golf
Gauntlet
Klax
The Legend of Zelda
Wheel of Fortune
Burgertime
Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf

I own three consoles: two front-loaders and a top-loader (fun fact: Boo_penguin once offered me a front-loader as a trade for said top-loader).

Genesis:
Street Fighter II': Special Championship Edition
Mortal Kombat
Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude!
Batman Forever
Maximum Carnage
The Jungle Book
Streets of Rage 2
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
Vectorman
Double Dragon V (blech!)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (two copies)
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures (not quite as blech! as DDV, but still pretty bad)
Golden Axe
Sonic Spinball (still in package, something unique amongst my cartridge-based games, though I do have a few Genesis game manuals)

I also have a 32X and one game, Shadow Squadron.
I wish I had Columns.

PlayStation/PS2:
Chrono Trigger
Mega Man Legends
Risk
Centipede
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
Pipe Dreams 3D
A Collection of Activision Classic Games for the Atari 2600 (I am not joking. This is the name of the disc.)
Gauntlet Legends
Lemmings 3D
WarGames: Defcon 1
Spin Jam
Digimon World
Qix Neo (actually just Volfied)
Pac-Man World
NAMCOMUSEUM Volume One
LEGO Star Wars
LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
Guitar Hero
Guitar Hero II
Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the '80s
Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA
Soulcalibur II
R-TYPE Final
Intellivision Lives!
Fantavision
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai
EyeToy Play
Kingdom Hearts II
Katamari Damacy

For some reason my sister's Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition disc is still in my case. I also have three unopened games sitting here (Brunswick Pro Bowling, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection, and Cocoto Fishing Master) and some sort of board game collection I've never played.

GameCube:
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Viewtiful Joe
Super Mario Sunshine
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Tetris Worlds (the only reason I own the PC version at this point is because it includes the excellent soundtrack, which is shared between the PC and console versions)
NAMCOMUSEUM
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects
Spider-Man
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Crazy Taxi (my youngest brother also has a copy of this)

I also have a Game Boy Player, as does my dad.

We have an SNES, but it's my mom's and we only have one game (Wario's Woods) and at least one Super Game Boy (I don't know if my dad sold the second one or not). No N64. I have an Xbox, but it's another tricky situation. When we got it, there was a disc stuck between the drive and the case...and I don't have a power cord for it. Basically, I don't know what game I have for it or if it even works.

EDIT: Forgot a GBA game and decided to go back and add the GB/C games I could remember.
EDIT AGAIN: I actually have three copies of NES Tetris and SMB3. Whoops! Also added Genesis stuff which I completely forgot twice.
EDIT FOR THE THIRD TIME: Apparently I was thinking of something else entirely when I was doing PC games, and put the wrong name. It's Starsiege: Tribes, not Starscape.

I don't believe I've posted in this thread before. I've had a thought, though: do we have to list games that we physically own the cartridge for, or does this list include games that we have downloaded off the VC (obviously, if you own Super Mario Bros, don't list it unless you have another copy of it for a different system..) My list only includes games that I physically own cartridges of (or CD's, in some cases)

NES

Super Mario Bros
SMB2
SMB3
Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: the Arcade Game (it's called that..)
Kirby's Adventure
Duck Hunt/SMB
Star Tropics

Super Mario World
Super Mario All*Stars
Super Mario Kart
Super Metroid

Zelda: A Link to the Past

Super Mario Land
Super Mario Land 2
Wario Land
Kirby's Dreamland

Gameboy Camera
Super Mario Bros DX

N64

Super Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Yoshi's Story
Ocarina of Time
Diddy Kong Racing

Yeah. I didn't have any other T-rated games handy when I took the picture. The M-rated game is Metal Gear Solid 2.

I imagine some people might look through to see if anyone else has Internet-capable multiplayer games they have, though checking the Friend Codes board (for Wii/DS) or just asking if anyone else has a particular game and is available for multiplayer would be easier. Also seeing if anyone has extra copies of something they'd be willing to part with.

I barely remember all the games I had before Wii, so I'll just list Wii disc games for now.

Wii Sports
Wii Play
Wii Fit
Wii Music
Mario Kart Wii
Super Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
WarioWare: Smooth Moves
Link's Crossbow Training
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Trauma Center: New Blood
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
Elebits
Animal Crossing: City Folk
Okami
Wario Land: Shake It!

Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader (did NOT ask for this)
The Simpsons Game (haven't played it yet)

Games I Am Currently Interested in Getting (for now):

Mario Power Tennis (Wii)
Cursed Mountain
Wii Sports Resort
Sadness
Pikmin Wii (if reviews recommend it, otherwise I'd get it if Pikmin 2 is packaged)
Pikmin 3
New Super Mario game
New Legend of Zelda game
House of the Dead: Overkill

I keep all my games in a zip-close CD pack, rather than keeping a hoard of game boxes on hand (easier to carry!)

I only read through others' lists to see if there were any games that I may have accidentally left out.

Wow, can't believe this thread made a comeback.  I'll post my entire game collection sometime later today (too tired at the moment, just hit midnight in Minny).

Edit: And now it turns out I'm too busy at the moment.

IGN counted it as a game way back when I had an IGN account, but I copied it off, because IGN kept missing games I owned in their database, and wouldn't add them. I had them add like ten games over the years. They even count the Notepad PC program a game.
