Can you beat my brute?

When I get high enough level, I'll make a clan we can all join.

(I know I always link these kind of games and bail after getting people started, but this one is so low maintenance I should be around for awhile!)

By the way, people, if you're wondering when you get your next day's fights, it's 5:00 PM, Central Deezer Time.

I think it's kind of stupid that this game doesn't give you experience when other people attack you.

When do we get to form a clan?  I've read that it's level 10, but didn't find an official guide.

If we intend to form a clan I think it is our best interest to not fight each other.  That is, if a member here beats another member here the winner will get two points, but the loser will only get one point.  It would be better if both members fought outside our planned clan.  That way both could get two points each and move up faster thus eventually strengthening the clan (and possible weakening potential rivals).  More specifically, if Lizard Dude beats his pupils he will become strong, but weaken his future clan.  I know that in nature it's typical to fight for dominance of the clan, but I say Lizard Dude should be clan leader since he started all of use on this.

A little rivalry every now and again is fine since this is a "game" fun, but if we have greater ambitions...

Speaking of greater ambitions, how do I participate in a tournament?

Anyone else have ideas on how we can strengthen our future clan?  Get more pupils...  Win more fights?

From what I've seen it seems you are much more likely to win and still get two points if you fight someone that is one or two levels below you.

Also (see my previous post), it seems they allow one pupil per IP so if we all make a pupil and also fight them (outside our clan) we could grow our clan faster.

Luigison now has a bear and is at level 5. MushroomBoy beat LittleWayne.  I hope that was a "music" fan and not some little kid named Wayne.

No doubt if I had kept up faithfully with this, my brute would be incredible by now.  But I didn't for a couple of reasons:

1. My Brute wasn't winning any fights.  Not even against brutes one level lower.
2. The game is completely luck-based.

I took a little more than half off his meter, but that was due in part to my bear.  After he trapped my bear it was soon over for me.

I think jelly bean is just [darn] lucky he gets that flail first thing - bears are well-balanced compared to it. Even worse, imagine if I had one of those (even though I'm not playing any more because of not really caring about the game) and it was used in conjunction with the dash attack (and not blocked, dodged, or used to hit an animal).

I'm getting sick of the fact that every Brute I come across has access to both the "stand there for twelve minutes and block every attack of mine" AND the "stand there for twelve minutes and spam a moderately-powerful attack over and over again" movesets.

In short, if anyone's wondering, it is very possible to get screwed over by the leveling system.

My character sucks.  Just to up my self-esteem, I made a new character for the sole purpose of getting pummeled by my main character.

The level 1 noob beat my level 4 main.  Did I just get the short end of the stick when I started out or something?

Seriously, I may have found a new main.  Is the spear a good weapon?

UPDATE: Yeah, he'll do.  Unless I go up against a bear or something.
