Luigi and Mario, as well as Pit and Dark Pit have each of their own back stories and a seperate characters. The other were created solely for multiplayer and are completely arbitrary and are not their own characters in and of themselves.

Yeah, people totally didn't complain that Ganondorf has been a clone of Captain Falcon for 2 games straight.

in b4 WarpRattler starts typing out and italicizing the titles of the games as SSBfWU and SSBf3DS.
Formerly quite reasonable.

I don't italicize abbreviations.

Those are the official names? How bland.

They're either the official names or they haven't decided on an official name yet. Who cares.

Those are the official names, and I think it plays in well with the..name..

It's SSB4, and it's going to be SSB for Wii U/3DS
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

There were so many great options though. SSB Kerfuffle, SSB Pugilism, SSB Scuffle, SSB Fisticuffs, etc.

Too bad they sold Tetris.

If those are the names, it's going to be an awful hard marketing sell. The name doesn't imply that it has any inherent quality about it that will make you want to buy it.

Except that it's super, and involves smashing.
