Wait, doesn't Nintendo own the rights to Donkey Kong too?

Sort of, but say goodbye to donkey kong racing. Rare has the rights to all the donkey kong adventure games, diddy, dixie, kiddy, tiny, lanky, chunky, cranky, funky, candy, k.Rool, all the bosses, and all the kremlings!

RARE has the rights to the way donkey kong looks right now!
If any further Donkey Kong games are made, Donkey Kong will have to look different!
Maybe like the way he looked in the classic Donkey Kong Games!

GATES!!!!!!!!!!!!
THAT NERD HAS GONE TO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE TOOK A HUGE BITE OUT OF NINTENDO!!!!!!

WHAT IF DONKEY KONG GAMES APPEAR ON THE X-BOX?

OR GAMES THAT STAR MEMBERS OF THE KONG FAMILY!

PERFECT DARK GAMES,

BANJO-KAZOOIE?

IF LINUX WAS THE SAME AS WINDOWS, ID SWITCH IN 2 SECONDS

WINDOWS 2000 SUCKS

OHH MAN, that is bad. But let me point out one thing: BILL GATES IS NOT BEHIND MICROSOFT ANYMORE!!!! He has been removed from executive positions, and he is now only the chief PC software architect. I guarantee it wasn't his idea. Therefore, you need not be mad at poor old Bill, but whoever made this evil action. Before I read this post, I wondered why they said that Rare wasn't gonna make any Star Fox games after the one coming up... and Namco is going to make subsequent ones. Anyway, does this mean that Rare will not be making ANY games for Nintendo anymore? That would sting, to quote somebody from SMS.
That was a joke.

What? Bill Gates and Microsoft never bought out Rareware! That must be a rumor or something... Where did you hear it from?

And, Donkey Kong is (and always has been) owned by Nintendo. Rare only has the license to use the character in  games.

So Rare's gone. Ah, well. It was bound to happen, anyway. Eh, Diddy's voice was getting too high, anyway. I could live without Rare. Hmmm... Does this mean a comeback for DONKEY KONG JR?!? I hope so.

That was a joke.

No Star Fox Adventures? No Banjo-Threeie? No more Donkey Kong in Mario Party? They'll probably have to take DK out of MP4.... That'll make the game take longer to come out... Quarter 1 2004... Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Dear Lord, no! NO!

Why'd you do it, William? Why? We used to be friends, William. We used to be friends!

GREAT NEWS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!

I looked into it, and all the games, characters, etc. that Rare made while working with Nintendo are stilled owned by Nitendo! Nintendo and Rare will continue to make new games together.

I'm sorry for being so hard on you, William.

Well duh, everybody knew that.
I had a suspicion that Rare wasn't going to work only for Xbox.
And William... isn't the guy who runs Microsoft. Hasn't everybody heard by now? He's been demoted to a lowly rank. (OK, so he's still the richest dude on Earth...) But even though he does the Xbox demos and stuff, he is still "my friend." The people who are not my friends are the people in Microsoft that developed xbox.
That was a joke.
