Bowser has been revealed as one of the fighters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/ssbb), marking his second appearance in the series. Smash Bros. DOJO!! (http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/index.html) also warns us that Bowser will have a "slightly different flavor this time around."

Why the huge downgrade for Pit? Assuming those screenshots of Bowser are real, Pit could look a lot better than that.

They would have to have come up with a new design for Pit that's 3-D. BP, just like Ice Climbers, they can't just keep the old retro version, can they? GaW was an exception because he was meant to be kept 2-D forever.

Actually BP, if you look in the E3 video, Pit's wings look just the way they do in the later artwork. They may have went overboard with the detail and just decided to make the artwork match what he really looks in the game.

In other words, Pit never received a downgrade. Only his artwork did.

To be honest, I'm not suprised that Bowser made it to Brawl. Not in the least. What I am sure of is that I'm not happy. I'd like to see some new fighters, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen for a while.

Bowser looks more like his recent chunky design, which makes sense given the use of recent designs for the other characters so far. Also, I hope everybody pays special attention to the thing about most characters having a different flavor this time. Nobody seems to realize that this game's physics are supposed to be entirely different from Melee's, as stated by Sakurai himself.

I like this design of Bowser more than Melee's. It might be because Brawl's design isn't so Jurassic Park-ish.

My only question is, will he have the same dragon-like roars and growls as in Melee or will he be voiced by Eric Newsome or Scott Burns?

Can't say Bowser's new claw design is an improvement.

I like Bowser's new design. It makes him look a bit more like he does in the games.

I liked Bowser's more dinosaurish design for Melee. Other than that, Bowser looks pretty good.

I don't have a point, I just wanted to use that line from Mario RPG, seeing as it is a play on the situation.
I don't know what to think of Bowser's new design. I currently think that his SSBM design is better, since he looks more menacing there. The SSBB Bowser looks far to cute and cuddly, though I thought that about the SSBM Bowser before playing the game.

I like it. More detail and less shiny, which is what always bothered me about Melee's Bowser. He was too dark and looked like he was made of wax.

I think he looks fine. Stubbier, maybe, and he kinda looks like he's cloth for some reason, but fine. After all, at first, I didn't think the art/graphics were too improved... then I looked back at the Melee Bowser! It's like GCN looking back at N64 CG art for Bowser (the waxiness)!

It's very nice, but I kinda prefer the shiny horns, spikes, and claws of SSBM Bowser. But I like this Bowser's less waxy skin.

This Bowser actually looks crusty, like a real turtle. The previous Bowser looked more like a dinosaur.

His flesh. Turtle shells are attached to them, you know.

Normally the bottom of a turtle shell is also attatched to the top.

Haha. I like the new look. It seems a lot more responsive. In Melee, Bowser was little more than a blood thirsty beast, but with this new design he reminds me of what the Paper Mario Bowser would look like if he went 3-D.
