There are many reasons why I hate the PlayStation, one of them is because they have NO CREATIVE TALENT! Sony just likes to copy Nintendo's games and pass them off as their own ideas!
Another reason why I hate the PlayStation systems is because PS2 killed the Sega DreamaCast! If Sony had never released PS2, I'm sure Sega would still be in the competition!
Sony sucks... They will never be as successful as Nintendo or Sega! Nintendo and Sega make the best games, and I hope that never changes...

i was never a big PS fan either...even though mah friends were, i stuck mostly with nintendo, i like the games on the system as opposed to the PS ones...i stayed faithful to Nintendo ever since i got my very own NES!! :)

personally i like playstation better and im planning to get a ps2 instead of a gamecube. if nintendo makes wario games for ngc, ill reconsider.

Sony can't make games worth s*it! I guess it's an opinion, but I agree that they have no talent. They should of been on Nintendo's side, cause Sony's hardware is nicely built, but the games are like shooting, racing, and football= All the same, all the time! NINTENDO RULES!

Okay, I agree with the fact that the PlayStation hardware is built well... But the games seem to be very repetitive...PS1 and PS2 have a ton of saports games, shooting games, and RPG's.
Nintnedo systems have action/platformers, Mario games, Zelda games, Kirby games, Pokemon games, Metroid games, Starfox games, the list goes on and on...
And one thing Nintendo has that Sony doesn't is Shigeru Miyamoto: The greatest videogame developer on the planet. As well as Rare, HAL Labs, Retro Studios (the company making the new Metroid game), and Intelligent Systems (The company that developed Paper Mario).
All Sony has is 989Studios that make crappy sports games that aren't even worth playing! Sega makes better sports games than 989Studios!
The point is, when it comes to great game development, Nintendo is the best. They've been in the buiness for over 30 years, so obviously they have more experience and talent than any other company!
When you want a system with a multitude of 3rd-party games that all try to mimic the talent of Nintendo, get PlayStation...But it's not worth it. I have a new PS1 (the tiny, portable version), and it's okay... The system is great, but the games aren't. The only good PlayStation game is Crash Bandicoot, which is Sony's "mascot".
My main point is this: NINTNEDO RULES, SONY SUCKS!

You know, this has been bothering me.
Besides Crash Bandicoot, what other first-party games does Sony have? Long ago, I used to think it was Spyro, but now I know it was Insomniac that created that game. Can anyone tell me what else did Sony make?

OMG. Why are you people so stuck on Nintendo? And why are you always bad mouthing other systems? Remember all the companies that used to devellope for the SNES?? Well almost all of them either died, or went with the PlayStation under different names, or even the same ones. Why you ask? Because Nintendo64 was hard to devellope for. I have nothing against Nintendo except for the fact that Mario64, Banjo Kazooie(1 & 2), and Donky Kong64 were all the same thing. So really, you cannot call Sony repetative, because Nintendo is too. -sigh- I'm kinda off track. My point is that if you don't play "ouside the cube", then you are really missing some great games for PSone/PS2, and even the XBox. Give ol' 'Xie' a chance! It's new to this world of gaming. So don't be so bias.

There are no good games for any system except Nintendo. I don't care what some people say, but I don't think I'm missing out on anything.

No, I don't really miss the Final Fantasy series, though there are still probably alot of Final Fantasy fans who are staying with Nintendo and refused Sony and Microsoft.
I never played the Final Fantasy series until recently. I love Final Fantasy 5 and 7.
People in Final Fantasy 2/4 are too cold and people die too often for my liking. And I refused to play any Final Fantasies after 7 for various reasons.
I have yet to play Final Fantasy 1, 3, or 6. Even though the series is good, it isn't good enough for me to switch systems just for the series. But I do realize that many Nintendo fans have switch systems just for the series, and various other games that was on Nintendo systems.
Oh, and I do give the XBox some points for good games like Halo, but I absolutely refused to buy it. But if you mean give it a chance by not hating it yet, then I'm already doing that.

playstation does not suck!...its just not up with cube....now x-box....that sucks. if I wanted to play something like that I'd plug two loaves of bread into an electrical socket and have just as much fun. btw, I'm happy dreamcast died in a way ebcause now they've got games for nintendo

Mario may reign supreme on my favorite character list, but he isn't the only one there.
I also like Link, Kirby(Even though he is kind of creepy), Spyro, Samus Aran, and various other characters.
Yes, I do know that my list of favorite characters are completely dominated by Nintendo characters, but that is why I'm a Nintendo fan, ain't I?
Okay, so Boltman and Bandicootbuddy may seem to like those characters alot, but they most likely love Mario over them. That's why they're on a Mario fansite, aren't they?

Hey, no need for rude comments towards me. I like all the systems. I have a Game Cube, NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and a GBA to my PlayStation and PlayStation2. I never said that these other systems are better, I just said give 'em a chance since there ARE great games for the others. Besides, did you see my sig? It's from my favorite videogame ever... this game was created by Nintendo for the NES. And my second favorite game would be Mario3. All my favorite games are Mario based. ^_^
