I legitimately thought this was a joke thread until I saw the topic author.  Can't they come up with original spin-off ideas anymore?

It's hard to be original when Mario has done near everything.

So when are they going to make a good Mario and Sonic game? One that doesn't center around the ****ing Olympics?

I'm perfectly happy with Sonic's involvement with Mario being contained to the ****ing Olympics!

I want to go back in time to the mid-90s and make kids cry by telling them that there's a Mario and Sonic crossover in the future, but it's a party game franchise that whores for the Olympics.

Alternatively, I could tell them it's a God of War-style two-part action-RPG brawler, and then sit back and wait.
