Title: The circle
Post by: Jman on August 09, 2003, 09:57:12 PM
I recently rebuilt my old cafe in the basement.  So now it is open for business,
and I've also started a brand new club called: The circle.  We can all sit on the couch or wherever and talk about our interests and about ourselves, and about Mario.  (cuts the ribbon)  I'm open for business!

Actually, I got the idea from That '70s show.  So, who will be first to order?  We have just about any food you guys could want.  And I got Pepsi, Coke, and the Mushroom Kingdom to provide drinks.

What in the name of fried chicken is he doing now?

I'll have a Shroom Cake, a Super Soda, a Yummy Meal, a Yoshi Cookie, a Fried Egg, and a Goomnut.(All from Paper Mario)

I have an idea!  Let's talk about comforting stuff!  I like rugs.   When you collapse on the floor it's nice to land on something soft and flat. -_-

Here's your iced potato, Big Boo.  Nintendofreak, here is your shroom cake.  It was the first of your orders to finish cooking.  Oh, and here's your super soda.
Guys, if you are waiting for any order to be finished or conversation to start, there are Gameboy advances in that cabinet and that cabinet.  I'll unlock them.

Wow, how'd you manage that? I must say, if you're not kidding, then you've won yourself a place above most places of business in my book.

Looks like the Mario Bar has competition now. ;p

My 24 year old female teacher went to the World series of the giants vs. the angels.  When they left, the fans were... out of control.  Her sister saw a giant's fan being beat up by a gang and a security was just standing there!  My teacher's sister asked him,"Aren't you going to help him?" and the gaurd said,"He can take care of himself".  That's just sad.  But I like the Angels too.  Can't beat their movie!:D

No.  But remember, Jon is the guy who brought "backwards pants" to this forum.  This is just another thing he's brought.  His constant "Yay" shouts.  So, who's got an old SNES?  Who still plays it?

Hey, has anyone noticed how simple the SNES controls were?  But how complex some of the Gamecube controls are?  I mean, you've gotta hit 3, count 'em, three buttons in some games to kill a boss.

I cooked it. Don't worry, the pic is larger than actual size. It won't bite you. I'll kill it with a little heat. *Taco Salad sizzles* Now it can't bite you for sure. I'll cook you a fresh tortilla. What good is a Taco Salad without a tortilla? (3 minutes later)... Done! Can someone deliver this tortilla to gunblade88? I'm signing off til' 4:00 p.m. 100th post in this thread!

Oh, you bet yur bottom dollar, nintendofreak, that school already is bad enough for me. Down here in Texas, we start school earlier now, so that means next week is our 3rd week of school. Progress reports....oh no, my grades are kind of bad. I've been trying to break in on sleeping, but Ialways feel tired, so that results in me struggling to pay attention, which leads to bad grades, which leads to......

Hahah, I mispelled grades and typed "grenades." Now that I mention that, I wanna throw a grenade at the building with all of my classes.

Sapphira, or Meowrio, or whoever the heck runs the place...

Could you give me a grilled chicken sandwich, with tater tots, and a Dr. Pepper I guess.

Oh man, with all the Root Beers and everything, my bill will be over 100 dollars for sure.

Hey, maybe you could assign me as the head dish washer because I won't be able to pay my bill, I think. To keep restaraunts stalled, keep ordering stuff. Heh heh...

I would like to order a chicken sandwich with no chicken, throw some ketchup, mayo, and mustard on. Hold the mayo; Uuuh, add some tomatoes, lettuce, onion, hold the tamatoes. Give me a Dr. Pepper with only a few ice cubes in it. No, uuuh, 20 ice cubes, uuh, no 13 ice cubes..uuuh, oh darn. What was I doing again?

Wow! 13 seconds?!! That's incredible! And Trainman, the Deluxe Feast was an item from Paper Mario. It was one of the best foods in the game. Why it looks like a pile of mashed potatoes is beyond me, but the moral is, "Don't judge your food by the way it looks." Much the way the moral of some Pokemon episode was "Don't judge a Pokemon by its smell!" referring to Gloom. Glooms are cool. Of course, now I'm gonna be swarmed by people who hate Pokemon telling me Pokemon stinks. (Ha! I made a funny! Get it? Gloom? Pokemon stinks? Haha. Oh well. It wasn't THAT funny I guess.)

"Tell me about it. I don't get out of school until 3:30 and then I have lots of homework."

 That's not so bad.

 Although I've brought my schedule on myself, I think I'll go out of character and complain for a change. Er, yeah, out of character. >>;

Anyways, since school has recently started for me, I figure where else but here, to complain about it?

I won't go into deep details, but my senior year definitely isn't what I would have said it was 4 years ago. Okay, maybe I will go into detail.

The beginning portion of my day goes like this:

 1st: College Micro-Economics
 2nd: Pre-Calc
 3rd: College English
 4th: Computer Programming II
 5th: College Physics
 6th: College French IV

After that my school day calms down a bit, and leaves me with Lunch, then Study Hall, followed by Physics Lab/Gym depending on the day.

Here's the part I hadn't thought through real well, though.

After School, I move off to a 3:30 Soccer Practice. I've been doing that for a few weeks now, it's not so bad. That lasts usually, until about 5:30, when I run off to work.

Work lasts until 8:30, when I finally get home and manage to do my homework. Followed by a nice sleep.

Please excuse my rambling, but you know, I'd like for some of you to feel fortunate, as opposed to complaining about how difficult junior high is.

 Have a nice night. >>;

Yeesh! Wow, that's hard...! College Level courses? Sports? A job?  HOW DO YOU FUNCTION!???

There's no way I'd put myself in such a stress-risky scenario.

Also, a note to the rest of you:
Do YOU know what it's like, taking the EXACT SAME COURSES ALL OVER AGAIN?  All that hard work and A's last year for nothing?
Knowing that all your friends will be graduating this year, while you're stuck one more blasted year in the dreadfulness that is high school?

Piecing together a yearbook which was supposed to be of your last and memorable year, while instead you will not be placed in that joyous "Senior" class with all the superlatives, junior marshals, ands special exclusives only that class receives? Instead having your picture placed around hundreds of kids whom most you do not even know, forever being known as "Underclassmen"?

Being in a math class you already took the year before and had a high A--the highest grade in the class, in fact--in which you now can't get higher than a mid-B, struggling the understand the material because of the teacher's lack of teaching, grasping on to what you learned the year before, and watching your other classmates struggle themselves from falling into oblivion?

Trying to switch math classes the first week of school, desperately wanting to avoid its horrid talons?  Given hope of slim escape, being that there is one slot left in the class of your previous teacher the year before, only to have it crushed by the procrastination and fierce stubbornness of a disgruntled counselor?

Losing a year of your life is NOT fun.  Life is a race. If you fall, you may not necessarily be out, but everyone will pass you until there is no way to catch up.  How do you avoid this? Don't fall.
But everyone falls. It's just a matter of *when.*  But how fast will you be able to get back up again? Or will you give up completely?

</incredibly long rant>

Well, folks who live in Texas have already been in school for about 3 weeks or more. We had school pictures today. :P I'll have to scan it and post it at the "I think it's about time...." thread. Good, this year we didn't make us do stupid poses. They should have stool, say shut up, smile, tilt your head a little, FLASH! You're done. I am a bad smiler so if I do scan it and post it, don't freak out. I don't know why, though. Well, it's the weekend, YEAAAAAAAAH!!!!!
I just got done watching the U.s Open. Hennin-Hardenne WON!!!!!! WOOOOO!!!

Uuh, well, I guess I'll take some spaghetti and garlic bread. Throw a Sprite Remix in there, too. Thanks!

*Cooks Spaghetti* *Takes out Sprite* Here's your food. And Ramen Noodles have Protein because the seasoning contains meat in it depdnding on what flaavor it is. For example: Chicken flavor contains chicken. And I am hating school already. My friend Tabitha is in none of my classes completely. We only see each other for like 30 min. in the morning in the library. Then my friend Eric is in only one, and same with my friend Cel. Luckily my friend Ely is basically all of them. As for lunch, our table was taken over by a bunch of dirtbags, so we have to sit at smaller table and it's only me, Elly, and Chris there. Somtiems Cel comes but that's it. Oh well. Also, I take 11th Grade Spanish up at the High-school (I'm in 9th grade though) so I have to get up at 7:00AM and go there. The day seems so long...Oh well. I'm in a good mood because it's the weekend.

I shouldn't play with the microwave.  Bad things happen like:

1.I melted a cup when I wanted hard chocolate to melt.
2.I accidentally left a spoon in there and there were sparks but I opened the door and pulled it out.
3.I put a glue stick in there once and the cap flew off and the glue melted.

That's why I never play with a microwave anymore.  I always check if there's something metal in there too, which I never do.

Yes Jman, they should make a game where you can kill... well blow up stupid Pokemon. I'll tell you why everyone hates Pokemon. Pokemon went down the drain after about 1-2 years after they made it. The dumb thing is, is that they keep inventing new, stupid games. i.e. Pokemon Gold, Ruby, Yellow, Sapphire, etc. They are almost all the same game and there are new Pokemon all the time. They're all small and stupid. They have almost the same powers and have stupid names that NOA or whatever made up. Pokemon Stadium for the N64 got VERY boring after 2 battles. But stupid them, they make another Pokemon Stadium. We had an assembly about types of abuse today at school. Since we're 8th graders, they were more blunt... but I didn't care about that. The "bully" was making fun of Pokemon, said the guy who had the trading cards was gay, and said that one of his attacks is "Losermon." This was acting of course, but it was VERY funny that he was making fun of Pokemon. Everybody laughed at that. I think Pokemon deserved that little blow to the stomach. I know Pokemon lovers will kill me, but that is my opinion about Pokemon. I used to like Pokemon, but after they started to make more and more, I didn't care for it much.

About the microwave.... put an ordinary lightbulb inside of it. It doesn't matter if it has blown out already, I don't think. Put it in the microwave and rev it up. It should slowly strobe a very faint purple. Inbetween each strobe, if you look closely, you should be able to see almost every color of the rainbow, and more. CAUTION: It will explode after a while, but it shouldn't be a powerful explosion either. Just a little "pop." See what it looks like after it explodes.

Try soap. Put it on a plate or something and watch it grow like 5x its original size.

Put a CD in. Lean it up on a cup so you can see it good. It should crack slightly in a lot of places, but inbetween the craks, it should shine a brilliant blue.

Try it out. NOTE: I have never done these experiments but I found a website where people have done theses things. So that means... don't call me crazy!

Ruby and Sapphire rock! They are one of the best games I've played. The T.V. show is the reason you all hate Pokemon. Nintendo would never do that because it is one of their franchises and no company in their right mind would make a game about killing one of the characters that they invented. Besides, the Pokemon games are cool. Mario has had more game sequels then them and he's still the best.

Also, I agree with nintendofreak. The show is the reason people think Pokemon sucks. The show does suck currently, but(hopefully) it should get better. Does anyone know how to do the yen symbol?!

I've NEVER liked playing any kind of Trading Card Games because it's just too boring. I only like the games. I liked the show when I was 7. I can't keep up with the new Pokemon simply because I don't have a GBA and I probably never will because my parents are so cheap. Even if they have the money they won't buy it. I've grown out of the show 3 years ago, but not the games. Pokemon isn't a drug for little children. You can't blame Pokemon for what those people did. It's temptation. The cards or the show shouldn't matter. Just the games.

I had the COOLEST dream last night.  I walked into a bar/pizza place, and all the walls and floor were gray colored.  There were pool tables in the back, and the place was brightly lit.
Anyway, I go to one corner and the lights turn into those funky colored moving ones, making the room a lot darker.  Then about twenty ninjas appeared, along with the ninja turtles at my side.
Then Leonardo got injured sort of badly, and he lay on the floor unconscious.  I go over to him and feel his skin which is hot.  I tell the other turtles and Splinter, "He's overheating! We have to get him out of here!"  Actually, it was probably more important that he was injured rather than he was overheating.
So I pick Leonardo up in my arms and I'm carrying him while I run to a door, while kicking two ninjas back down to the floor, the other turtles fighting the ninjas also.  When we get to the other room, two ninjas start chasing me, so I run as fast as I can, carrying Leonardo, towards the wall, the two ninjas gaining.  I'm about to run into the wall, when I jump and kick off the wall, over the two ninjas, who run into the wall, falling backwards, unconscious.  Now there are two ninjas left.  I put down Leonardo, and face one of them.  I punch him, kick him, and then jump kick him backwards to the floor.  The other ninja disappeared, but it didn't matter.  I defeated five ninjas,  and the rest were defeated by the ninja turtles.  It was a really cool dream, especially since the ninja turtles were there.  The way the "scenes" appeared were really cool...

I don't know if it's too late but apology accepted, Jman. I hate those Christmas songs from the 50's and 60's that clog the radio in December. My favorite Christmas song is "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney and Wings but I'm not sure if Wings was involved in it. Featured in the remastered edition of Back to the Egg.

I'm just a sucker for Sonic X.  It's such a great show.  Although I wish they had all the freedom fighters on the show.
And speaking of banned songs, the Beatles' "I am the walrus" was also banned in 1968 because of offensive lyrics and drug references.

Jman, there's something wrong with your music post. Here are the error details: "Cannot play back the file.  The format is not supported."

Here is your data:
<center><embed SRC="C:\Windows explorer.PLEASE1.WAV" AUTOSTART="TRUE"WIDTH="135" HEIGHT="35"<BR>
<P></center>

To post wav. files on the Fungi Forums without hassle it has to come from your own documents meaning you have to download and save it to your hard drive. Or the problem might be that not more than one song is allowed per page on the Fungi Forums.

Yeah, she can join.  And why does Meowrik have such a problem with newbies?  They're just learning the ways of the forum.  Besides, I don't have a problem with her (GiftedGirl) The only people I have problems with are those who would threaten my friends and allies on this board.  So if anyone gives me any guff, I'll just put them in a SSB WWE style! match and humiliate them.

Now, after that rant, I'm darn thirsty.  I'll have a Pepsi slushie.  Yes, the Circle now offers Slushies in 14 different flavors.  they are":
Pepsi
Coke
Moutain Dew
MD Code Red
Pepsi Twist
Blue thunder (A blueberry/ strawberry remix)
Banana
Fruit Punch
Kiwi
Sweet lemon
Jman special (A new one every month.)
  Lemon Lime
Fruity mix
Cherry

This month's Jman special is:  The super fruit float!  Orange, cherry, and grape flavoring with ice cream mixed in.

If no one likes the Slushi idea, I'll drop it.

I was joking. Before I explain this joke, does anyone here even know what "flatulent" means?

(Silence)

Apparently not. Basically, flatulate is to "fart", and flatulant is the adjective form of it. Look at her sig.

Now do you see the humor in my post?

And I have no problems with newbies really, but there have been a lot of newbie threads lately which got on my nerves.

Oh, so you have had a bad experience with them.  We all have our own opinions.  I personally think they are great.  But I understand your story.  Similar thing happened between me and tuna salad.  I rushed to the bathroom and puked it out after dinner.  Haven't eaten it since.  Of course, this was about 8 or 9 years ago, and I was sick with the flu at the time.

Only when I''m tired do I come up with random rambling signatures like this one. "Are you a Mario fan?  What?  You don''t like Mario? Die!"

By the way, I just wrote a new song.  It's a parody of the Eagles' song "Victim of Love"  I call it "Victim of Microsoft."  It mostly circles around Microsoft computers.

Here it is.  I do like Microsoft Windows, but this song is wriiten for the Microsoft hater.  It's called "Victim of Microsoft."

What brand computer have you got?  It should be working but it's not.  A Windows program, acted like spam, and wrecked your computer a lot.

I heard about you and that man.  There's just one thing I don't understand.  You say he's a rube, his programs broke your CPU, Now I think you'd better go kick his can.

Victim of Microsoft, I see your broken heart.  You want Bill Gates to burn in heck.  Victim of Microsoft Best Buy sells computers for 1/2 off, what you really need is a Dell.

Microsoft Xbox is no good.  I think you know what I mean, you should.  A brand new Dell would work really well, if only Microsoft Xbox could.

Xbox is worthless, I'll tell you why.  They have only one good frachise.  No Mario, No Link, none of those guys.  I just can't figure out how they survive.

Victim of Microsoft, I see you bought an Xbox.  And you're so mad 'cause their games are dumb.  Victim of Microsoft, that big Xbox, you couldn't lift it if it was a crumb.  Oh, Victim of Microsoft, oh those terrible products, Xbox sucks Windows is all right.  Victim of Microsoft, you agree Xbox sucks, I'll buy you a new Gamecube tonight.

(Repeat "I'll buy you a new Gamecube tonight
          5x)

Only when I''m tired do I come up with random rambling signatures like this one. "Are you a Mario fan?  What?  You don''t like Mario? Die!"

I was watching the Timberwolves at a local sports restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings.  During the commercials, I happened to glance at a different television, only to see the Maple Leafs and Senators in overtime.  But I went back to the Wolves game and never found out who won between the two hockey teams.

By the way, the Wolves won 106-92.  Sam cassell scored 40 points while Kevin Garnett added 30 and 20 rebounds.

Jman, I'm on jon's side. I talked to him on Messenger, and he's definitely not crying. He doesn't want to waste time on destroying this flame-infested forum with a certain rube running amok. But if by a strange twist of fate he decides to destroy the forums again, I will support him. In my opinion, it was wrong to ban jon. Some people think he didn't respond smartly to the mod(s) who wronged him in some people's opinions, but I think it was wrong to ban him for it. The mod(s) was a(were) complete jerk(s). They feel like they own the forums and they want to get back at jon for annoying them, even though he's done nothing wrong. They think anyone that offends them deserves to be banned. If the head of the strike system tries to force that person's flawed rules on the forums, I will defend jon's point of view anytime.

I'm not nervous at all! But my bud that's dancing with me is a nervous wreck! I have no clue what she's gonna do when it comes time to rock in front of the school. I'm worried she's gonna run off the stage crying if she makes a mistake. She made a mistake in pratise and she almost quit! And the worst thing is, if she quits, I have to. Why? Because we need a dancer on the left and right of the stage, and it'll look funny if there was only one dancer on one side.

Overall, it's gonna ROCK! Wish you guys could see!

Sorry if I lost my temper earlier, I just hate hearing about our boys getting captured and killed and no one does a thing to stop it.  President Bush was pretty angry.

It's a two-way street.  We sort of brought about the war because we wanted their oil, I'm pretty sure of.  Maybe I'm wrong, but I was against the war for that reason, and because I'm against violence and generalizing people into groups, like blaming all Iraqis when some are innocent.  Plus I don't like our dependency on oil.  As it says on my brother's girlfriend's car, "The Earth does not belong to us; We belong to the Earth".

So, here's another official circle poll:  What is your favorite singer or band, and if you can, post your favorite songs by them.

My favorite band is the Beatles.  My favorite songs from them include

1. Oh Darling
2. Yesterday
3. Ticket to Ride
4. I want to hold your hand
5. Revolution

Another group I have just gotten into is Styx.  I like their songs:
1. Renegade
2. Lady
3. Come sail away

I have many other favorites, but like I said, post your most favorite group or singer.

There is no ''I'' in team...Nor is there an ''I'' in group, gang, crew, squad, club, band, party, crowd, cluster, troop, or set.

OH MY GOSH! My band Punk 101 did a little concert, and this lady from the Toronto Star(the newspaper in Toronto)asked us to be in the "Battle of the Bands". We might be on T.V and in the newspaper! The only thing is, we have to learn more songs!

I'm going to be a singer(with another friend)and dancer. This is going to be fun! But of course, it's a long road ahead until we're good enough. So it's practice  practice practice for the whole summer.

We didn't start this war because of oil. We started it because if we didn't Saddam Hussein was going to grow even more powerful and become an even bigger threat. If we never started, he'd still be in power now, and we'd probably have had another form of terrorist attack by now if we didn't react.

Okay people, I am about to reveal the story of why I hate Pokemon so much.

Well, here goes.  Simple enough, I just grew out of it.  One day I decided "This just isn't worth my time anymore."  I planned to leave it alone, but then I went AP and wrote many stories about Pokemon's eventual doom.

It was about a year after my original quitting of Pokemon that Me and a friend drew this very gory comic about Pokemon's end.  Then, I came on here and shared my anti-pokemon nature with you guys.  I'm sorry for offending people with that, but I'm not sorry for quitting Pokemon.  I believe that my choice to get out of it early made me a better man.  There may be some kids my age that are still trying to rescue their soul from the abyss that is Pokemon.  Trust me, I know how you can become addicted to this kind of thing.

Those are my words, and I hope they didn't offend anyone.

Maybe MarlieMoo14 ment it as sarcasm, but forgot to use the <sarcasm> tag.  Or, more likely he/she simple has a habit of using the word "stupid".  He/she also called him/herself stupid.  On the other had if he/she ment it then the wrong word was used.  You were "ignorant" about origami, not stupid.

I saved my cat’s life! My cat was VERY young and it was in a shoe box near the side of the road. It was winter so they would freeze to death if they stayed out to long. So I told my parents and we took it to the Vet. The Vet said they would have to put it in a shelter if nobody adopted it. So we decided to keep it.

Now he's a very happy and healthy cat. We named him Clancy! He's an Orange American short haired tabby. I love him so much! He's very friendly towards my Bugie and Hamster, heeheehee it's so cute.

Oh, and my parents are thinking of getting a dog! We can't make up our minds, my Mom want a Pug or a Shetland Sheepdog, my brother wants a Brittany, my Dad wants a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and I want a German Shepherd. I think we are most likely getting a Shetland Sheepdog.

I used to have a black lab, but she had cancer in her nose so the front part of her nose had to bew cut off, but the cancer came back, and she was becoming sick in other ways, so we had to put her to sleep.

One day my family began hearing tiny kitten noises in our laundry room. We came to discover three baby kittens, after giving them a box with pillows and such, we heard small kitten noises coming from the tool shed. The mother had moved them after noting our interference, we chose not to intervene. Some days later, the mother of the three was hit by a car down the road and died. They were small enough to fit tow in your palm at the time. Our family bought a tiny kitten bottle and some tiny kitten formula, and took them in. We cared for them untill they were old enough, gave two away, and kept the third. We call her Kali, because of her caliconess.

Let me away from this boulder!

Have you noticed that when one suffers through a bad social experience, they usually learn a life lesson faster?  I mean, they say you learn from mistakes, so with every little mistake, you learn a little.  Well, I figure when you have a worse social experience, you can learn from the mistake which brought the problem about, but learn a larger bit.  Of course, there are a bunch of problems with this theory, like commiting suicide instead of learning, etc.  But think about it: a bad parent-teacher-student conference will show you the consequences of not doing homework, and you'll probably learn the importance of doing homework.  And a year without friends or companions can show you the consequences of rudeness or acting on jealousy or something.

Um... this was supposed to be a conversation starter, it just turned into a statement or something... well... whatever.

I wish I was in the forest with a dragon right now.

Whoa, sorry I never posted on my birthday two days ago.  or yesterday either.  You see, I have been immensely enjoying my new Nintendo Gamecube I received for my birthday.  With it came two games.  I got the GCN MK:DD bundle pack with two controllers!  I also got Madden 2005, and I have quickly learned the controls of that one, having several wins under my belt compared to just two losses by a total of 10 points.  Yes sir, I've even come from behind with a last second hail mary pass.  But enough about that.  Glad to be back, and Ihope to post more often like I used to.  Oh well.  As soon as I get an internet connection on my own computer, (this is the family one, which is brand new by the way)
I will return full time.

Edit: A cow lickin' seems serious, so I don't want to get on your bad side, Marlie.

Oh good, someone remembered.  Sorry but I'm sort of new here and don't remember hardly any birthdays but my own and a few others.  I think it would be cool if TMK had a calendar (Mario-themed :)) that told certain people's birthdays like if they wanted to add it there.  Then we wouldn't have to keep track all the time.

LL: Woah, I just noticed your last post!  I'll take a hug!  I'm so cold that I think my brain is frozen. ;)

EDIT: Speaking of Sonic x, the last episode of the show is going to air this Saturday on 4Kids TV!!  Yes!  Now if we could just get Kirby:RBAY back!

Just got back from a weekend ski trip last night.  I did pretty well, until I crashed and burned at warp speed!  But I had two choices: intentionally wipe out at warp speed, or hit a tree at top speed and possibly kill myself.  Luckily, I chose the former, and I'm still here to talk about it, but I am a little sore.

I''ve found that if you have a goal, you might not make it.  But if you don''t have one, you''re never disappointed.  Let me tell you, it feels phenomenal!

Alright. I will tell you all about my sadness:

Ever since I started reading the original text of Nancy Drew books, from the 30-early 50's, I can tell they're better than the revised versions. The revised ones don't have as much spice as the original books and they're shorter by five chapters. I am now devastated that they're making a Nancy Drew movie and she has a Sidekick! At least, it looks like that, and it's a modern Nancy Drew! You cannot make Nancy Drew modern, every fan knows that.
