I was wondering how to change font colours.(I made a topic before but I didn't understand)
And I'm pretty sure that the invisible font(have to hilight to see) is considered a colour. So can someone tell me how to change font colour?
-
Don't ask me. I wish I knew how to too. There used to be a font color and smiley selection bar when you posted messages. What happened to it?!
-
This place was badly damaged by a nasty onset of bbqcode, so everything fancier than plain text is harder to achieve than it should be. Let me test to see if standard color changing works, and then I'll show you what I've done if it does.
<font color="orange">Balloon juice walks into the room.</font>
<font color="#333333">But no one sees him.</font>
<font color="purple">How mysterious!</font>
-
Nope, doesn't work. Why did I bother to hope?
Why don't you just go and fall face-down on some upright-standing nails, FF!! They'd be much prettier looking after that than you are now!!
-
Hmm...
Balloon juice walks into the room.
But no one sees him.
How mysterious!
Huzzah! Success! This is what I did:
Balloon juice walks into the room.
But no one sees him.
How mysterious!
No need to be so sad, Watoad! :D
-
Let me try. Hope it works, as I love the color green! It's for turtles, tortoises, and sea turtles!
Huzzah! It works!!! Yay! (^.^)
-
We're all doomed.
-
Just be sure you don't use colored font unless you need to, or if no body minds, so don't use it all of the time.
-
Is there a whole list on font colors on this website?
-
No, but it would be nice.
-
YES!
But, how do I make it invisible?

To Khold: Sapph says it in her post, revise it.

What do you mean?

Sorry to double post.
How do you change font size? (I'm not a spammer so don't worry!)
-
Copy the second peice of code in Sapph's code, paste it in your post, and post!
And for large fonts:
Big font!
Copy and paste this code with your own custom text, and post!
Big font!

What do you mean?
He means I showed how to make it invisible.

Okay. If I can learn to use HTML, then maybe I can learn how to barbeque. Does anyone (MB? Sapph?) know of a Web site or page that lists out all of the different bbqcode commands? Or perhaps some other info or resource that would help me in exercising the full potential of this message board system? For whatever help you give me, thank you!!

This (http://themushroomkingdom.net/board/Themes/ff/help/posting.english.html#bbcref) is pretty good.

I know but, when I type that code ,color=#333333, it just makes it darker...
EDIT: What the... it worked? It didn't work the first time. :-\
-
I'm going to try the font thing.
It worked!
Alright thanks guys.

That's probably because each post's backgound alternates in color. It doesn't make the text invisible, just the same colors as the background, so you can't see it. If you have a darker gray background, you'd need to use [ color=#222222 ], and if a lighter gray one, [ color=#333333 ]
Now you see me...
Now you don't...
/me makes herself memorize those codes.
-
All you have to do is remember what color the previous background was and use the 6 2's or 6 3's code.
Edit: Grack, what about the 5 people using the other templates? I bet they think we're crazy.

Argh, this is one time that I really hate freedom of choice.

...Okay, that was random. A little off topic, Don't you think?
Any ways, #222222 is lighter or is #333333 lighter?
EDIT: #222222 is darker
#333333 is lighter.
/me thinks to self, "me=Khold does this pink thing."
-
Actually, even easier is to start a new line, and type "/me [insert action here]." It won't work if it's in the same line other text is in; the /me has to be the start of the line, and anything in that line will be the light purple. Start a new line for it to end, if you want to still say stuff after it, but not part of the light purple text.

Okay, thanks Sapphira.
