Title: Current Forums Theme

I noticed that not everyone is using the default theme. Which one are you using?

To get to this, go to the top of this screen. Click on (https://themushroomkingdom.net/board/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fthemushroomkingdom.net%2Fboard%2FThemes%2Fff%2Fimages%2Fenglish%2Fprofile.gif&hash=5e5eb3310b038cdda35271db1bbbcb93). On the left, under "Modify profile", select "Look and Layout Preferences". Under "This section allows you to customize the look and layout of the forum.", click on the "(change)" link. You can then browse themes avaliable to you.

I'm using the Fungi Forums theme, because it is the least confusing to me and doesn't look like all the others.

I just checked out the other themes. They all have smileys and avatars.

Looks like everyone IS using the default theme! (0-0-0-11)

Yep, default. Though being able to turn on avatars would be nice... you know, a profile option.

According to the tallies on the list of themes, 2,241/2,252 members are using the default FF theme. Including me. I just like dark-skinned themes a bit more, and the icons are a lot clearer.

I think I prefer the FF too...that's what I have obviously. Showing that everyone has it like that.

Good gosh, am I the only one here who uses the SMF Default? A major problem I have with the normal TMK theme is that it doesn't even have the option for avatars; don't ask me why.

I think it's pretty clear most people here want the option of avatars in the ff theme.  Why can't this be changed?  I'd change themes just to get avatars but I like being unable to immediately detect intentionally-hidden text... If I changed themes I would have to change background colors and I would lose all the fun of hidden text.

It is possible to add avatars to the ff theme. There is an Look and Layout Prefrences option that allows you to turn them off if you don't like them.

There is an option to turn avatars off.  I do not have that option checked.  Yet, I have no avatars!  I get avatars when I change themes, though.

I just noticed another good thing about the other themes: None of them have those annoying banner ads. This makes the pages load much faster.

I gotta say, it's nice that this YaBB thing (I changed to it just now) doesn't show those ads, but this background is hideous to the extreme. TMK + white = disaster. *goes and changes the layout back to the default FF theme*

I'm currently (and probably is always going to use) the FF original theme. It rawks. With white writing.
