Now, contrary to some of my recent posts, I don't actually eat or hate babies. Sorry, admirers. It is a lot of fun to tell kids that I do eat babies, though... especially when they believe me. Now that I think of it, it might just be that it is fun to lie to kids.

At first when I saw that fans were creating babies I thought "Oh no!" but then I saw this image and I enjoyed it.

There's something different about the first panel. The lines aren't as smooth as you normally use; was this deliberate, so as to match the somewhat rougher style of Yoshi's Island?

I assume they are about to face Rawk Hawk in the last panel? That looks like his.. hair doo-dads. I really like that Luigi and other party members are in the awaiting crowd. Nice!

Those are supposed to be the Iron Clefts, but they were violently un-rehearsed, the spikes drawn with no real pattern in mind. As for Luigi, he shows up during some battles so I know he doesn't spend ALL his time doing what he tells Mario he does.

EDIT: Oops, I wanted to say that you did an excellent job with this BP... as always. I don't think I'll ever be able to take the time to draw Mario characters as well as you. I'll just stick to my random cartooning that no one can see because I don't have a scanner.

When I saw the title of the thread, I was expecting something M&L:PiT-related. I was a bit disappointed, but hey, nice art!

It's the guy in Rogueport's inn/bar. That's not a cane, that's the top of the Cherry Bob-Omb in front of him.
