Mine is certainly Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario - he's a very interesting villain just in terms of appearance and mannerisms, but what really made him the best Mario villain in my eyes was that he had a real backstory and a motive for what he was trying to do instead of "generic evil dude wants to rule the world", and it was pulled off really well, especially for the first time in the series dealing with a villain who had a complex backstory like that.

My second favorite, also from Super Paper Mario, is Dimentio, for many of the same reasons. His backstory wasn't developed nearly as much as Bleck's, but he had quite an amazing and intricate plan and it was very exciting to see how it concluded at the game's climax.

...But since neither of them are on the list, I'll have to go with my third favorite, Fawful. He's just so wacky and his butchering of the English language and use of weird and extended metaphors are always hilarious. "A WINNER IS YOU!" "Your lives that I spit on are now but a caricature of a cartoon drawn by a kid who is stupid!"

Darth Butch.
Ahahaha, I remember that guy. :P
We went to see them for the first time in 5 years because they were going away for 3 years.

Lord Crump. He was so evil and bumbling. He was arse holish in a way that was kind of endearing.

I'm going to have to say Bowser on this one. None of the others are quite as persistant as he is, and that's what I love about him.

Then Wario is my favorite villain. He isn't "evil" in the traditional sense, but in Wario Ware his mischievous antics make for some hilarious situations.

TATANGA, COCK[bundle of sticks]S

Also, Paper Mario's King Goomba (AKA Goomboss in SM64DS) had some of the best dialogue of any Mario character to date.

The topic doesn't seem old enough to warrant a close, but I'm a little suspicious. bonita2014 did contribute to the thread and didn't necessarily break the "No bumping for the sake of bumping." rule, but I feel he/she may be another user in disguise.
The Mario series is the best! It has every genre in video games but RTS'! It also has a plumber who does different roles, a princess, and a lot of odd creatures who don't seem to poop!

If "Mussolini", "Pol Pot", "Stalin", "Saddam", and "Russell Crowe" aren't also banned, they're racists.

You know who else was a racist?

Hitler.
