After the agonizing wait for Super Paper Mario (http://www.themushroomkingdom.net/games/spm)'s release in Europe, it turns out that a bug still slipped by the testing team. In Chapter 2-2, talking to Mimi before picking up a key found by triggering a trap will freeze the game if you are playing in UK English, German or Spanish. Nintendo of Europe officially announced the glitch today (http://www.nintendo-europe.com/NOE/en/GB/news/article.do?elementId=5PEzUvTf6HbPNJBeSVY69gEW_UolQbT8), and will soon begin to replace game discs for free.

Ouch!!

Yeah, people were complaining about this 3 days ago, and still are on Gamefaqs.

Nintendo's really screwing Europe around. Who could forget that MP8 incodent?
-
I had completely forgotten about it until you said that.

That's funny, my brothers one works perfectly. Guess it's something to do with the Law of Averages, I suppose.

Are you serious? I don't have a Euro copy, though. Maybe there was only a number of defective copies.

Perhaps he bought it sometime after they pulled the defective copies and replaced them with the better ones.
-
That could also be true.

Videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGBisXiTQ-I) of the bug are already surfacing.

Nope, he got it on the day of release (14th September 2007).

I'm proud to be British but i know they allways make mistakes in pal games like in Mario 64 ds if you collect 5 silver stars in the level with the snowman big head and enter and exit the igloo the silver stars reapper collect another one to glitch the game!

I think that was a universal error, especially since there isn't a video mode difference between America/Japan and Europe for DSes.
