It's sad seeing something based purely around hope as the focal point of so much ironic conention and disruption.
But, then again, this sort of thing does happen almost everyday...so...what am I complaining for?
...Does this mean I go to the ANGST thread or the HOPEFUL thread...?

Yes I read the manual, but for reasons other than practicality. 
Generally, there's never anything imperative stowed away in those things, and if there is, it's something as minute as what button to press when attacking an enemy or how to block.  Such basics as these aren't the sort of things that need studying before playing the actual game.
I simply enjoy reading the manual for the little trinkets of authenticity and brief previews of what the mood of the game will be.  That's all. 
I'm also rather pedantic, so I guess you could say that it relieves a yearning within.

I have a headache and I can't sleep. :[

I can't seem to sleep either.  :(
But my involuntary insomnia comes from my anxiety problems, not headaches (though I'm truly sorry to hear that, Pt_Peach).
It seems as though there's always a looming doubt in my mind that either concerns the daunting future or pieces of my ill-spent past.  I usually have to get up in the middle of the night and walk around just to feel the hardly comforting relief of setting my mind on even the most simple of tasks (as though sleeping is a waste of "precious minutes" that could be used for building on more practical strengths).
I sincerely hope something is done about your aches, though, Pt_Peach.  Especially your earaches.  X(
Those can be brutal (or...maybe my own ears are simply abnormally sensitive...XD).

According to some report, most bridges are in terrible shape.

The bridge on 35W wasn't even ranked high on the list of national bridges needing improvement.  It was somewhere in the middle.
There are so many more structures around this country that need repair.  After this that should be evident.

It seems as though I differ in opinion with just about everyone here in that I don't want to see Sonic in a Super Smash Brothers game.  :(
It just wouldn't feel right to me.
If Mario and Sonic are as rigorous a pair of arch rivals as everyone claims them to be, then I think that adding Sonic to the character roster would almost taint the game.  This is one of Nintendo's finest works, here (based on what its predecessors were)!  And I'm sure there are plenty other first-party characters who could suitably substitute the blue hedgehog.   
I see tossing Sonic into the brawl as something of a mockery to what Nintendo has built up over the years.
However, this is simply opinion, and I won't feel any inexhaustible angst if Sonic is, in fact, in the game (or in future Smash Bros. games to come).

I think an AC character would be pretty awesome, actually.  I can see him/her being sort of like Servbot in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.  XD
