Title: Best GBA
Post by: G-Dawg on March 21, 2006, 02:26:13 PM
Personally I like the SP better, but which one do you people like?

Whoops, put this in the wrong thing.  Think one of you moderator people put this in General VG Chat? I would appreciate it.

I know I've said it before, but the GBA is my favorite. I have a worlmlite for it, so that solves the light problem (though it's a little too bright). I like the shape and soft buttons, and the headphone port is still there.

I like the SP best. Nice feel to it, I like the flippy thing. Great screen.
The Micro cramps my hand way too much for me to play that thing for more than 5 minutes.

I voted for the SP, which I recieved a few months back. I love the SP for the flip-screen, which protects it while I'm not using it. I also like the brighter screen and the richer colors.

The SP as now I can play when i'm in bed at night without having to turn the light on.

With the "newer, brighter screen," GB Micro's portability is not enough to save it.  If Nintendo had come through with the faceplates, things might be different.

The SP feels real nice in my hands, plus it's sexy.

What kind of sexy? Like, sexy-sexy or Harley-Davidson-sexy?

I think he means Harley-Davidson sexy.

SP for me. I like the way it feels, and the fact that it has a light. Plus, it folds, so when I pack it with my games, it won't get scratched.

I'm suprised no one voted for the GBm, though.

Come on, the GBM is lowest on my list. It doesn't even have the traditional link cable port. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't play GBC games.

I've never actually heard of the Gameboy Micro, so I don't know what it does or what it doesn't do.  So you people have your little arguement without mua.

The GBM is a smaller, more Harley-Davidson-sexy version of the GBA, G-Dawg.

But, I don't know why this is, but I like the GBA a lot better, even though it does not have a light. I just like the structure of it, and it feels more comfortable in my hands.

What? Of course SP. It has a light, you dont have to replace the batteries, and it can fit in the smallest of pockets.

Too bad that I got my GBA's before the SP....;(

Thanks Hyrulian, think you can tell me about the Gameboy Player, I don't know what that is.  Someone else put in the poll.  Is that when you can plug your Gameboy into your Gamecube and play it like that, or something? I can't remember.

I like the SPs with the backlit screen.  I'm thinking about getting one of those, so I can trade Pokemon between my Ruby, Sapphire, Leaf Green, and Emerald versions.

G-Dawg, I have a GB Player, remember? It's the black thing latched to the bottom of the GameCube with the GB slot and Link Cable socket. It requires a disk to start, though. I wonder if the Revolution will have GB-GBA games for download... or a GB slot?
