My funniest moment is the Bowser events in Paper Mario 2.
I also like how the hotel manager in Sunshine asked for Mario's help. He said "Can we trick you...I ask you for your help?" I lol'd

In Super Mario Strikers, Bowser came and tilted the field and what not, He was in the Opponent's home field, The goalie got the ball, threw it, and it hit Bowser and went in the goal!

The intro to Mario Strikers wasn't the funniest thing in the world, but it did make me laugh when Waluigi got iced.

I guess one of the outtakes on Mario Power Tennis, of when you beat Planetary Cup, the Outtakes were funny, especially when Waluigi let Wario crash into the ground.

In SSBM, in the special movie, I like it when Peach gets chased by Bowser. I cracked up! I also liked it when Peach took the little Mr.Saturn thinggie from Bowser.

Where did you see this in MPT?

It's either after finish the Star Cup or the Planetary Cup (whatever the last set of the second cups of called).
You finish the first set (through Star Cup, I think.. it's been awhile), and you get to see the first bloopers reel and you unlock the second set of cups. Finish whatever the last is in those and you unlock the second bloopers reel (only available by finishing the last cup tourney gagin).

Luigi is so funny in Partners in Time although I do feel bad for him being abused in it, but his moments are funny.

I did think that was pretty funny! I also liked when the gooba's below Rougeport, the first time you go down there, are flirting with goombella. That was pretty awesome and there way of speaking was very, well, slanggie!

I always like the way Bowser bumbles around in MP3, always showing up at the wrong times, being bested by Daisy, who whacks him clear across the Mushroom Kingdom.
I also like Mario's walking motion when you do that code at the end of SMW.

I love how Fawful talks in M&L Super Star Saga. It made me LOL, when he kept talking about fink-rats and out of nowhere, mustard. I still think that's funny.

I tought all of the curse boxes in PM2 were hilarious and how Tec the computer in the X-naut fortress fell in love with princess peach, Yes it was weird but funny.

Lord Crump's dialogue was pretty great in PM2. I liked all his strange metaphors, and awkward insults.

That part was cool, but for me a more memorable part was the little 'toad freaking out at the chapel wedding. "I... I... I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" The way he vibrated at 100mph made it funny. This phenomenon also happens when you jump on Chef Letort's cake.

Hmm, I never thought of that. I thought he was being killed by the suspense and emotion of the wedding, but having to answer nature's call would make a bit more sense I think! Marryville (or whatever the town was called) was full of fun: Sneaking into the wedding picture; working for the hotel; also, I think Booster wore a dress at one point.

did you notice toadsworths talking sounds in MP7 lol!!! Also, in super mario all stars when you would climb up a vine and at the end of the vine if you try to climb up, mario (or luigi) will do a little dance!

Hehe. That was in Nintendo Power recently, I think. They did a side by side comparison of New Super Mario Bros. with the original, and apparently the vine dance is out.

All this happened to me in MKDD today: Some things in dk mt. Tihs is a trick anyone can do! In dk mt. when you go into that cannon have a bowser shell with you and make shure someone is right in front of you. When your in midair after being shot through the cannon and being in the mt. throw the shell and if some one is already on the ground, it'll hit em right in the head!! It's not hard but it's a fun trick! Also in the same track at the bridge, Wario was in front of me then he toppled down the bridge and then Blew Up !!!! I think he had a bomb. also it's fun to see him before he falls off he was struggling to get back on the bride. Always coming up and down. "Whoa, good laughs give me hunger!!"

Goombella: That's Stewart, the blimp conductor. He checks tickets for blimp passengers. He's what you call a Cheep-Cheep. Normally they don't hang out on land, but... They've actually been around a while in the Mario Bros. series, you know. Oh, gosh, I just broke through the fourth wall, there, didn't I? Sorry, just forget it.

When you solve Toadia's trouble (for which you have to wear the 'L' Emblem badge, which gives Mario green clothing), Luigi comes along and goes "Hey, bro. How's it goin? Why are dressed as me?" Toadia freaks out, and thinks the real Luigi is actually a sad wannabe. So many hilarious moments on PM:TTYD. But this is one of my personal favorites. Along with the Bowser sequences at the end of each chapter. (especially Kammy's fight with the Puni elder 'Hag vs. Hag... awesome!')

The sequence in PM:TTYD when the Russian Bob-ombs are preparing to launch you to the moon because I always laugh at the total fear we had during the Cold War. Also in case anyone didn't get the joke, Ganeral white is named so because of coaurse he is a BOB-omb, so that would make him a bobwhite. ( that's a type of quail)

If you leave Mario idle for long enough in Mario 64, he'll eventually sit down, then lay down, and then fall asleep. After sleeping for a little while, he'll start talking in his sleep, and he'll mumble about various pastas.

Speaking of Mario falling asleep, I like how when you talk to the Puni elder, and if you solve Mayor Kroop's trouble, you'll find the person you're talking to babbling on, and on, and on, and Mario will eventually fall asleep unless you press A again and again.

When you defeat Cortez, in The Thousand-Year Door, you find out he really didn't want the crystal star anyway. I thought it was both hilarious and aggrivating. (did I spell that right?)

For funniest moment, I'm going to have to go with the fat penguin in Super Mario 64. It just struck me as funny for some reason. By fat penguin, I am referring to the one that bulks up after you get your last star.

I have to say that not only are TEH L33T HAMM3R BROZ. funny, all of M&L:PiT is hilarious. Especially when the babies start crying and Luigi starts doing stupid things to cheer them up. PiT is one of the funniest games ever!

I thought Mario getting food poisoning, and Luigi having to be hypnotized into thinking he was Mario, in Superstar Saga, was hilarious. I also grinned at Geno's cameo in the same area, but that wasn't really funny.

How about the 100 "I love you"s? After about 20, I started thinking, "You know, I think they're actually going to make me press A 100 times." Then around 40, I just started laughing at the absurdity. At 70, I realized it might have been a good idea to use my turbo controller. And at 99, I pressed Z 99 times and A another 99 times to make what just happened actually sink in. That was funny.

Geno is one of the party members you encounter in SMRPG. He's a spirit guardian of the star road that inhabited the body of a doll.
I think the most funniest moment in a mario game was in M&L:SS, when Bowser's Koopa Kruiser crashed, and one of the Koopa pilots commented, "No... not the Koopa kruiser... we just payed our final payment on it...". Lol.

Or in the beggenining were Luigi says "bye bye" to mario before he leaves to the beanbean kingdom. bowser then thinks luigi wants to join his clan, luigi makes a run for it, and when the KK takes chase, It's hilarius!

I have made mario sleep,but I've never seen him do that.
If you're playing the DS version, I don't think you can. He does it in the original, though.

I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but I think it's funny if you have a human player in one of the first two Mario Parties, and you play one of the RC-cars minigames (the real name of the game escapes me right now) then when you run by the human that's not in motion, you knock them off the track and out of the minigame. It's quite funny.

Ah, yes. That's one of my favorites. The adult bros. are knocked out. The babies try to wake their older selves. Baby Luigi bonks his older self with the hammer, and Luigi growls, which make the babies cry. The crying wakes Mario. Mario glares at Luigi, while inching ever closer. Then Luigi cumbles in a heap of tears.
Mario's supposed thoughts: Sometimes I feel as if I'm the only grown-up in this journey.

General Shy Guy from Paper Mario, altogether, made me laugh my head off. I was thinking, "He's SUCH and idiot and his soldiers are total wimps!"

I loved what Fawful says (in Superstar Saga) when you do either Fire Bros. or Chopper Bros. on him in the almost-final battle.

I liked one of Goombella's tattlings in PM2: TTYD. I forgot which enemy she was researching, but she says that "These guys reallhy suck...HP." It made me laugh a little.
I also liked some moments in Super Princess Peach. After defeating the World 7 Boss, Peach saves Luigi and starts swinging him around with him screaming and releases him at the end. Also, the sign that reads "You saved...Luigi?" Another moment is the ending, when Peach frees Mario. When she runs over to him, Luigi follows but Peach smacks him into a wall. He is knocked out as Peach and Mario spin around together. LOL!!! Poor Luigi!

In Paper Mario, there are some funny lines that can keep you laughing for hours. I made Mario jump on the table at an inn, in Koopa Village, and the Toad yelled at me....it was funny.

If it's funny, it came from a Mario RPG. Gaming dialouge has never been finer!
Really, though, I haven't sat down and thought about it, but it's probably either when Toad accidentally walks in on Mario in the shower (ML:SS) or when Toad said he can't fight Bowyer "because I left my bazooka at home, SHEESH!" (SMRPG)

I think the whole concept of passports, an international airport, exchange rates and literally jumping the border in ML:SS was funny enough in its own way. So many games have you traveling to distant lands, but how many think to face the swemi-reality of it all? And besides, a bean-obsessed kingdom clashes quite well with a mushroom-obsessed kingdom.
And anything Fawful says. And Tolstar with a black eye and crutches. Ah, what the heck. There's a reason everything in that game was named after onimatopoeias for laughing.

Well, he has a tall tower, so he probably has bungee jumped off the top floor before..

For the record, it annoys me when people call Koopa Troopas "koopas", as that's the collective name of the race, not those particular individuals.

Oh, balderdash. "Koopa Troopa" sounds silly, and most people find that all Koopas are enemies, thus, in their mind they belong under one banner. Also, we call people in the army just that--people. Koopas, being a non-human race, can collectively be called Koopas, even if they aren't employed by Bowser.
Hmm... On further consideration, I became less confused by Glorb. Here is my final answer. Sure, they're called Koopa Troopas formally, but Koopas is not so truncated to the point where it has little meaning.

But not all Koopas are enemies, and Hammer Bros., Boom Booms, Chargin' Chucks, and Magikoopas are Koopas, too. Therefore, the regular ones are called Koopa Troopas, and the ones with wings are called Paratroopas. Heck, in the games, the regular one is always referred to as a Koopa Troopa, and nothing else. That indicate anything?

And yet, when one mentions only the word "Koopa," you envision the Koopa Troopa. This isn't something that requires a great deal of formality, usually!

Person, government man, president, murderer, old lady, you, I, this guy... You see where I'm getting at? When you say "person," you envision... a person.
This is something I hate, when people assume that they're going to offend someone else (made up or not) without first considering if they would be offended in the same position. Mario having an Italian accent is one example; someone once posted they thought that may be offensive to Italians in general. With an American accent, would he offend me? By no means. If he had the same accent you have, would you think anything of it? I highly doubt it.

I only think they should be called Koopa Troopas because they're a specific type of Koopa, just like all the ones I mentioned above. "Koopa" is really a collective term.

I refer to Koopa Troopas as Bowser's land troops whose species happen to be of the Koopa family.
