Behind Creepy Steeple. Look for an opening in the fences. (not at the front gate)

You see, I tried to ask this question in "Paper Mario Troubles help" and I got an error message. Then I posted this topic but found that my other message had actually gone through.

Yes, the error thing happened to me in the Morton is Missing topic. I tried again and again changing stuff, and people got mad at me.
Well, anyway, when you're in the steeple, go through the northern door. Then look for the gap and go right. Hit the dead tree with your hammer.
