Aw, I like Zorua. Not as much as Vulpix though. New fox pokemon... that's kind of cool I guess.

Also: Another MS Paint opportunity! Post your reactions!

Can't say I'm crazy about either of those designs.

Agreed.  Zorua's eyes look wrong for some reason, and it's... I dunno, call me crazy, but it looks kind of insubstantial.  Zoroark would be fine if it weren't for its ponytail and hair-tie-looking thing.

Talk about an uninspired design: Vulpix/Ninetails + Poochyena/Mightyena = Zorua/Zoroark. Is the Animal Kingdom really so limited that Game Freak is recycling even more mammals? I demand a capybara-themed Pokemon, ASAP.

However, I'll retract my criticisms if Zorua and Zoroark are revealed to be the first and second respective evolutions of a starter Pokemon, thus confirming the rumour that the next gen will feature Dark/Fighting/Psychic-type starters.

Dark/Fighting/Psychic-type starters.

That's an incredibly stupid idea and hopefully Game Freak isn't dumb enough to ever go through with it.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

I think I'd rather see Flying/Fighting/Rock starters.

Reason? Well, with the aforementioned Dark/Fighting/Psychic types, one of them is totally immune (as opposed to resistant) to one of the other types. This doesn't happen with Flying/Fighting/Rock.
Fangirling over Luigi since 1999.

Weegee, excellently put. And funny you should mention that--before I saw screenshots that seemed to indicate this being another quasi-Legendary fodder for the next Pokemon movie, I was suddenly reminded of that fake Psychic/Dark/Fighting starter character art that was floating around pre-D/P. I looked 'em up again, and... I forgot how incredibly convincing they are. Heck, one was a kangaroo and another a triceratops--we've seen iterations of neither!

Why is that your first thought? There is NOTHING sexual about it.

Mind you, the same could have been said for Lucario, whose image hit the fan soon after being unveiled. Gardevoir and Lopunny are the only Pokemon upon whom Rule 34 should be subjected, anyway.

Sorry guys, but Zoroark there was, ah, "validated" while still only a silhouette.

[darn]; Fifth is right. The same already goes for Zorua: Check /v/ if you dare.

Not too fond of this new pokemon.  It's Zorua (Zola?) kind of cute, but Zoroark ('Zoloark' will most likely be its English spelling) reminds me of Shadow the Emohog for some reason.

*checks on non-4chan site* Nothing original yet, but they're working on it. I predict confirmed in two days.

Wonder if every known Pokemon has been Rule 34'd yet. Gotta something them all.

*checks on Bidoof* *fetches brain bleach* There should be a separate rule for 34'd pics that are intentionally as hideous as possible.
