Okay, this has probably come up before, but how do you make a link with text?
Like, I would say "here" and it'd be a link to wherever I want it to be... I think I knew this before, but I've forgotten.

Did you type in the full address? Test1 above is just "something.com", test 2 is "http://www.something.com/" (which, surprisingly, actually exists). Make sure you always type in the full web address.

It's interpreting them as relative links, and so looks for the pages in the current site. It's kinda silly, but easy to fix:
Just prepend your URLs with "http://" to make them absolute. ("www.something.com" becomes "http://www.something.com")

Ah. So this should work...
I assume the same thing (a href= etc.... )would work for pictures and music too?
As for my above post, i've never seen a delayed triple post before; i assure you that wasn't intentional... weird...

<img src="fileurl"> Is the HTML for posting pretty pictures. Of course, you'd replace "fileurl" with the file's url.

Well, you can link to pictures and music on the web with the a href, but to display them in a post, that's a different matter.

This is a link to the best science fiction and fantasy art site you'll ever find. At least I think so.

Any reason why you brought an 8 month old thread back to life?
.....You could have just as easily made another one...
-
So, does this HTML here --> <img src="http://WWW.warpytacos.com"/img> turn into a link on a post, or do you have to have the HTML checkbox enabled in posts for that? (If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know.)

Sigs for me are like underware, I can't use them for more than a day or two, or they start to stink. That 's why I use disposable ones.
... right, sigs, not underware.

No, that wouldn't do anything. First, you need to put a link to an actual image file, not a webpage. Second, yes the use HTML box does need to be checked. And that will take out all hard returns so you'll need to use
and <p> for that.
