Before I start I should say that I already own a few dozen ties that are unremarkable, and want to expand my collection of novelty ties.

Here's a few notables I already have:
Atoms: https://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/hats-ties/9b49/
Blue 8-bit: https://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/hats-ties/9352/
Cat in the Hat: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XWZ8PE
Snoopy Joe Cool orange: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LY4OGG
Guitar Hero: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0047WGGTQ
Tetris: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00181REB8
Duck Hunt: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VJ3KBC
Elements blue: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LPS9ZM
Elements red: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LPSAHE
Nuclear Physics: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QY7J8G

Here's a wishlist I put together on Amazon (145 ties as of this posting):

BTW, my school's colors are blue and orange and we are the Spartans.

Do you have any suggestions from the Amazon wishlist above or can you post something that I don't have listed?

If I get an overwhelming response for a certain tie or if anyone purchases a tie for me I will post a picture or two of me wearing it.

Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Edit:  I've added several gaming ties to the wishlist.  http://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/3TI7W7BU5YNV1

8-Bit Blue just screams "Mega Man" at me.

Snoopy Joe Cool Orange is pretty cool.
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

Don't wear a tie with video game stuff on it, ever.

The science-themed ties would be clever if they tie into your profession in a meaningful way, and would come across as charming and cute.

If you wear a tie with Duck Hunt on it you will look like a wannabe aging hipster or an immature man-child.

That's great advice.  Too bad I'm not entirely following it.  I plan to wear the more extreme ties like the Duck Hunt one on wacky dress up days for homecoming, the day before winter and spring breaks, or on the last day(s) of school.  Most of those will only be worn once per year.  The less extreme ties and chemistry ties I will wear on Fridays, but even then the most I plan to wear even the subtle gaming ties is twice a year (once for an even and once for an odd day).  Most of my novelty ties are date specific, like a four-leaf clover tie on St. Patty's day.  I don't own a Mario tie and even  if I did I'd probably only wear it on one of the days I mentioned above or on Mario day if that was on a Friday, but it falls on a Saturday next year anyway.

Try coordinating your ties with the day's lessons.

Today I saw two teachers on my hall wearing Redskins jerseys, blue jeans, and tennis shoes so I don't think my wearing a novelty tie once a week will be a big deal.

Does anyone actually consider a Redskins jersey with jeans and tennis shows to be more professional than a nice dress shirt with a gaming tie, belt, suit pants, and dress shoes?  What if it was a Redskins tie?

If teachers are wearing sports jerseys all rules of decorum are out the window.

Only if the tie were made of actual Indians.
