You're entirely correct. That is exactly what discrimination is. Unfortunetly, Segregation and Discrimination are different as well.

Nope, Im actually JUST an 86er. I was born on December 31 1986 at 8:32 PM MT. My GF's even younger than me and also an 86er. She was born on the same date, at 11:43PM MT. If she had a computer and joined the club, she would actually be the youngest one here. Really, People could lie, but where would it get them? I mean its not like I hand out money to 86ers or anything like that....If I really wanted to find out I could have people email me a copy of their birth certificate...but I wont...Hey how about a 86er Poll...

Anyway, I was born Dec. 3rd, 1986, at something like 6 in the morning.
Of the remaining band places, I can play drums or guitar, but I guess I'll play drums, because guitars don't go in funky '40s five-piece bands.
Also, "my girl" (I wouldn't call her my girlfriend, but anyway) was born in 1986, but in January. (I'm not saying the exact date because she probably wouldn't like that.) So she'd be one of the oldest ones here, if she were here.
So... what do we do in this place, anyway?

Besides, a lot of times I'm already listening to music, so when I enter a site that starts playing music, it gets REALLY annoying. 2 songs simluatiously and the same volume. Not pretty.

Secret fact about me...I also usually take an hour in the shower...not because of the same reasons for women...but its just, being a country boy I dont usually shower for probably a week at the most....and it takes about that much time to scrub the dirt off...not to mention the sweaty smell...actually Im suprized I even managed to attract a girlfriend...hmm must be my personality...or the ADD..heh heh...

Of course, I may be Borderline and Paranoid, hard to say. Never been diagnosed though. I'm really leaning toward the Borderline, though...
Me? I shower just about every day, usually for at least a half hour... not for cleaning pruposes, but for some odd reason, I tend to be most insightful in the shower. It's freaky, actually.
As for other preparation, It takes me about 5 seconds to get my hair ready (Dry it with a towel. Task complete) and about 2 minutes for everything else. So ya.
11: I believe I read somewhere that I have the same birthday as Ludwig von Beethoven. 12-16, I think.
12: Math something. Hard to say what, though.

GPA is Grade Point Average. I don't know if you get grades when homeschool, but here's how you calculate it. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0. Add a point to each honors class. 2 points for above honors (i.e. Advanced Placement)--this is what makes it weighted. Take all the points from all your grades in HS, and find the average.
Voila! There's your GPA. To find it unweighted, just don't add the extra points for honors/AP. Unweighted I have 4.0 ^_^

- Hm, I'm not sure if I'd ban Marioguy. I mean, sure he's annoying and vulgar, but I think he just wants attention. If he could just show a bit more maturity, which I know he can, I think he'd be an alright member. To ban him would only eliminate that option.
As for anything else I would do, would probably dis-allow HTML use in any forum other than the Story Boards. Yeah, I guess that about sums it up.

Yes, I am an Admin on a forum with over 15,000 members (About 1,000-2,000 active) and I know from personal experience that this member will NOT mature. Trust me.... it is VERY rare for a member to turn around after flaming for that long. He's been here doing that .... I think he's been a member longer than I have and he STILL hasn't changed!
And oh yes, let me tell you what marioguy posted on Page 1 of the Sonic vs. Mario cartoon thread in GMc:

--I told you, it's a common typo I make. I've noticed I also tend to mispell "interesting" a lot, forgetting the 2nd 'e.' Not b/c I don't know how it's spelled, but 'cuz when typing fast I sometimes miss letters.

Don't be fooled into purchasing an expensive converter to play Super Famicom software, just pop out the notches and you're in business. On the smaller SNES II systems performing this modification is a little harder since the notches are metal inside the plastic. Then again, SNES II's are a bit rare and I can't see any reason why you'd want to pop the metal cored notches out when original Super Nintendo's are so cheap right now, common, and are a quicker modification.

Heh...Right now on Ebay..theres a set of 3 Famicom cartriges...SMB 1 and 3...along with a pirated SMB2j cart...I hope to really get it...so far its going for 6 cents plus 3 bucks s&h..with 4 days left....Hopefully after that Ill canablize one of those Gyromite cartriges for the famicom adapter inside...

I was quite partial to "Aviators" in the SNES version, but never cared for the PSX rendition of it. "The Dream Will Never Die" is also quite good, however, Midis don't do it justice, as it's a lyrical song. Yes, it had lyrics even on the SNES.

*Sigh* Whatever. I'm thinking about scratching my comic idea, too. The DK characters are just too hard to to with sprites, considering some of the main characters are only in DK64 and don't HAVE sprites.
I'm thinking about using Mario characters instead, but I don't think it would have as much of a comedic effect. I could try, though...

Really what I was gonna do was after the sprite sheets were completed, I was gonna email them to the perspective people asking if there was anything they wanted me to change...Really I like to do it myself..it adds a personal touch to a comic...

My odds were PRETTY slim of getting an A that semester. I had like a 96%--the highest grade in the class, no less, and now it would be brought down by not having enough time on a stupid exam... Not fair. I calculated it, and in order to still have an A I had to get at LEAST like a 74% (that's a D) on the exam... *forlorn sigh* I got a 69 on it...the highest possible F--70% being a D-. Stupid grading scale!! In Cali a 70% is a C-!
I was *SO* close to getting an A... goodbye, sweet, sweet 4.0 unweighted GPA...
Luckily, though, I had to be pulled out of school, dropping this year--and all my grades in it--entirely. Granted I'll now be class of '05 instead... but at least it'll be like this year never existed (thankfully, since it's drop-pass, not drop-fail. Drop-fail would've been 6 big fat F's inserted into my perfect GPA... now I won't be hindered...grade wise...)

Oh, and I had some unknown mystery illness. Seriously, the doctors, ENT, psychiatrist, counselor, my parents... No one could figure it out. I, personally, think I had mono--I mean, I had all the symptoms--cronic fatigue, weakness, achiness, etc., but the results turned out negative when they did a blood check. Then again, my mom said when she had mono, she had to have 5 blood tests before they finally detected it.
What I think happened was that I got so stressed and overwhelmed with school work, on top of lack of sleep, and depressed that my immune system went WAY down. Then I would catch every single little bug going around at school when I finally was healthy enough to go back. Then I got overwhelmed with make-up work again, and it turned into a vicious cycle. Read around pg 88-on in the Mario Bar.

Sorry about your test, MarioNut. Also, a girl in my class went through the same thing as Sapph, did. Well, sort of. She only suffered from Major Depression, I don't believe she ever became ill. She was the top of the class, but, no longer.
I had thought it was uncommon, I guess it's not so much as I had thought it was.

Both my Math and French grades have basically been a stick in the mud for my average. I've had the darndest time raising them. Not to mention, I had both regents on the same day, a few days back. Ah well, we all have out problems, but I'm sure we'll both manage.

That's one thing I found with writing Essays, when I wrote a lot of them, I was able to write in a higher quality. I was lucky though, we had taken our Regents Exam last January, so we didn't have to write all of those practice "Tasks" afterwards.
That's not to say we didn't write essays anymore, but not to the extent we had to prepare for the Exam.
I just mean, writing, whatever it be, isn't so bad. It may be a bit boring, but at least in my case, if I hadn't written as much as I had, I probably wouldn't be in any position to be picking at other people Grammar online. :)

Ah, I understand. That makes sense after reading that other topic, which I read after posting here. Geocities, isn't the greatest host, and I don't believe it allows deep linking, which tends to become a hastle. But, it seems whoever is in charge of that site, may want to open another account, if not for only storing files.
Of course, that brings the problem of deep linking. I'm trying to think, if that would work. Hm, I'm unsure, but it seems I'm rambling on anyways. You may want to find another host soon, is what I believe I'm trying to say.

Dream Water, I've seen it, and you may be right. As long as you don't put your main site there. Dream Water is notorious for it's banner ads that it adds to your HTML. But, I guess it isn't much, if any, worse than Geocities. But, I bet it'd be a good place to dump your files, as I'm quite sure you can link directly, with them.

Hmm, in order to restore my "coolness" I reveal that the "position" incident was a scam that triggered in my brain when Marionut#1 went crazy over my use of "position." I was actually in the "position" of helping my dad with a computer imaging workshop. They wrote it all, not me. My girlfriend's been gone to London for a month. After Marionut#1 made the suggestion, I fired back a sarcastic agreement. Now here's where the confusion comes in: Later, he said something about not being in the Club and I said I wasn't really in the Club, but posting to the Club. Sapphira or someone combined this with the old discussion and things went from there.

It turns out, I had gotten back a little later than I had expected. The drive took a bigger toll than I had imagined, and crashed at my friends house for the night. Ah well, I'm back now.
The convention was a lot of fun. I wish I was still there, actually, but all good things come to an end, I guess.
I did take plenty of photos, and as my film develops, I had found a picture of myself on one of the few sites that have uploaded their Otakon pictures.
I had decided to cosplay. That's right, I went to the convention in costume. I had decided this late, and was forced to quickly come up with a costume. Now, that's not to say I have any sewing talent at all. I couldn't thread a needle if my life depended on it. And so, some help was needed.
I had enlisted the assistance of my mother, the Sewing Goddess of our family. The costume was quickly created, and I was set. I had managed to fulfill my two-day long dream: going to the Convention as a Black Mage.
Feh, I liked the costume alright. I had opted not to spend time creating any sort of eye holes, as I could see through the Black Cloth easily, and so, the Black Mage's trademark yellow eyes are something you will not find, yet it matters little to me. Besides, I wasn't out to win any competition. Well, besides a Smash Brother's Melee tournament that was held. I digress, here is a picture the man from Fansview took of me as I was sitting, waiting for a friend.
Note, the White square on my stomach was the back of the Convention Badge. You had to wear those to get in, and they seemed to like to flip around on you. Also, you can see the velcro on the Cloak, which you shouldn't be able to do, but it kept coming apart, and I had a terrible time seeing it, so it was quite poorly attached at the time.
Don't worry though, I'll have better pictures of myself, and other interesting costumes I saw in a bit. I won't clutter this thread with them, either, I guess I'll have need of making a new thread. Meh.

Today is my last day in my hometown. I'm spending all day madly transfering millions of files from my home computer to my new college computer (not bad - 2.4 gH, 512MB RAM, GeForce 4 MX 440, 17" LCD Flat Panel) USING ONLY A 61.2MB USB MEMORY DRIVE! ARGH! Anyway, after I get done slapping USB drives from here to Nantuckett, I go madly try to hook up my computer to Montana State University - Bozeman's cable internet. Yay! Then for three days after tomorrow I Hike & Read with other Honors Program kids. w00t. Then one day of nothing. Then classes start. Yay for college math and science. Yay for reading a book every three days whether I feel like it or not.
If all goes well, I should be posting again by tonight.

Thing is, whether you are in this club (its initial criterion, that is) was determined a long time ago, and cannot be changed regardless of how much time passed.
