I wonder what state people live in...besides under the bed or the closet, etc. Don't worry I'm not a sex offender and I believe you guys aren't either. I'm a curious little dude too, so I hope you vote.
I live in the Valley of Californ-i-a! (I just realized how long it took me to do that.)
(And sorry if someone else has made a topic like this already.)
-
I'm a delawarean(I think that's how it's spelled). It's a pretty flat, cityless place. We have one city, smelly air and tons of rednecks. Trust me though, it's better than it sounds.
-
Texas. It's really hot this time of year, even though I live in the Northernmost part.
-
I be a New Yorker. Queens to be exact. Rockaway to be even more exact.
-
Sammamish, WA, near Redmond, WA, the home of Nintendo of America!
-
Somewhere in Suffolk county, New York.
-
Right now in this post, I'm in New York. In a few weeks I'll be in Florida so I'm screwed as I don't see a "Remove vote" option.
-
Sorry Aarom. I thought people would just use one...unless you're like a millionare with houses in every part of the country. I should've put "What Part of the Nation Do You Live In" I guess. Sorry again.
-
Tennessee- The Eduyktayoin State.
-
You had South Carolina listed twice, and South Dakota was missing, so I fixed it.
I live in North Carolina (and have for almost 5 years), although I've lived about half of my life (9 1/2 years) in California and also lived in Maryland for the first 6 years of my life.
Presently, however, I'm in a different "part of the nation," but I don't actually live here. ;)
-
As you know, I'm in CA too.
-
Sorry Sapph. I was trying to hurry because my parents were bugging me to get off. It's fixed now...thanks.
-
New York, home of the New York Yankees, where Boston Red Sox fans will be either killed or tortured. Heh.
-
Ohio. Yes, born and raised here.
-
Utah. Not a bad place, although California seems like a popular place to live! I hope that everybody votes on this topic.
-
OMG! Sapphira died at the young age of 19. Her ghost must be posting.
Anyway, I'm still in California.
-
I'm an Aussie, so I voted Another Country.
-
Good thing I put that up then.
-
I live in Wichita, Kansas and have for most of my life.
-
Luigison made me laugh. I live in California. Like, the bay area. The very middle, north/south-wise. But more west than THE middle. West of San Jose, we'll say. But East of those coastal mountains. Like, forty-five minutes south of San Francisco.
-
I am in California, too. Near the coast, though. The majority of us do! Cool!
-
Yeah I'm surprised, I thought it would be more spread out.
-
Well, California does have the highest population.
-
Well, California does have the highest population.
And we are cool people. j/k. Anyone in any state can be a major jerk.
-
And we are cool people. j/k. Everyone is the different nations can be major jerks.
What? I do not understand.
-
Well, California does have the highest population.
You sure about that?
-
I've got a delawarean firend that is going to join soon. Guess that will make two of us from delaware.
-
i live in North Carolina, preety quite city where I live.
-
California has like the fifth best economy in the world, I heard.
-
I heard it was the most polluted state.
-
Yeah youre probably right fuzzy.
Who voted for Another Country besides Ultima Shadow?
-
Luigison, maybe?
-
I'm from Canada, province: British Columbia, Pacific time zone.
-

No. I'm in California. Don't believe everything you read in my profile.
-
Go Sooners!
If you don't understand, it's because I'm not from Oklahoma. I'm from California! an hour south from San Francisco, to be more exact. And I'm moving soon anyway, so maybe I'll be closer or farther away than I am now.
-
Is that an hour by plane, train, or mule? As the crow flies?
You're now in Oklahoma. Did you measure distance in hours when you were in California, or is that a new measurement you acquired after living in the South?
BTW, I do it too and I'm from Mississippi though I currently live in California.
-
Canada, eh. Although, I used to be in Iowa. I kind of miss it, but mainly because of friends.
-
Canada lets a certain group of people do something that I wish you could do here! Although some day America will have that policy too. That is what I think.
-
I am not now or ever before been in Oklahoma. I simply wanted to say a sports name, and that one came to mind. I don't know how many miles south of San Francisco I am, but not too far because it's an hour by car.
-
So we have:
1 in Alaska
8 in California
1 in Colorado
1 in Connecticut
1 in Delaware
1 in Georgia
1 in Illinois
1 in Iowa
1 in Kansas
4 in New York
1 in North Carolina
2 in Ohio
1 from Rhode Island
1 from Tennesee
1 from Texas
1 from Utah
2 from Washington
6 from somewhere but not here...tee hee hee! Another country.
And the reamining states we have members yet to join! I wonder who's from Alaska
-
Or those who have yet to vote.
-
Another country.
-
^ This person is smarter than all of us combined. That's a fact.
-
I'm in cogsnito!
-
Do you have what it takes to become a citizen? (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13442226)
I think most of those questions have nothing to do with being a good citizen.
-
I don't really care about any of them. (Although I am a citizen)
-
Hah! We got another for Ohio. Gamers do exist in teh Buckeye State.
-
I'm from the land of 3 Edsas, Manila, Philippines!
-
I live in Michighan.
-
Oooooooklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plane.
-
Confusion, mostly.
Otherwise, Arkansas.
-
Dazed and Confused a lot of the time for me.
Physically speaking, I live in O how high I-O.
-
I thought there was a thread about this. That may have been way back though. I'm here in glorious Ohio, the land of burning rivers, countless sporting blunders, and poverty-stricken cities!
-
Texas. No, I don't live in a desert. No, I don't milk cows. No, I don't wear a cowboy hat.

What Part of the Nation Are You In? (If you're in one at all) (http://themushroomkingdom.net/board/index.php?topic=9470.0)
Next time, use the (https://themushroomkingdom.net/board/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fthemushroomkingdom.net%2Fboard%2FThemes%2Fff%2Fimages%2Fenglish%2Fsearch.gif&hash=e7d5560df43ed0b9d1ca4cfdb1a58f0b) (http://themushroomkingdom.net/board/index.php?action=search) bitton.

Smack dab in the middle of New York.
-
Ohio all up in this mother. But yeah use the search button new people.
-
He's not really new, he's been here for a little while.
But he still should have used the search button. A topic like this is likely to have been used more than once.
-
I really wish the name of this topic were "In Which State do you live?" Ending a sentence with a preposition, though sometimes allowable, still sounds awkward. I admit, I am guilty of it, but I try to keep it under control. "Where is it at?" is one of my worst. That "at" is so unnecessary. I think it's another Ohio thing.
-
Ending a sentence with a preposition is always allowable, but sometimes unnecessary, as you just pointed out, and that's why English teachers made up that ludicrous rule that you shall not end any sentence with a preposition whatsoever and it messes up people like Bird Person's writing.
Almost all writing "rules" are just invented to keep n00bs from making large mistakes, but if you follow all the rules, you will never become great, only good.
-
Asking where something is "at" is one of the few sentence-ending prepositions that really does not sit well with me. The "at" is not only pointless, but completely nonsensical.
-
Texas. No, I don't live in a desert. No, I don't milk cows. No, I don't wear a cowboy hat.
I live there too. Texas FTW!
-
Sweeeeeeet.....what city do you live in, SJ?
-
San Antonio, and you????
-
I live in a Dallas suburb called The Colony. It's a small town, but it's nice.
San Antonio is awesome. I've been there a few times.

Oh cool, I've been to the Dallas area quite often. My dad lives in Irving, Texas, so I am sorta familiar with that area. I actually went up there last year for the Nintendo Fusion Tour!
-
San Antonio,
I know a girl from San Antonio. Her dorm room is next to mine on campus.
-
Out in the West Texas town of El Paso, I fell in love with a Mexican girl.
-
Once I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.
-
Really, TEM? I have a similar hobby. I like to shoot cans. You know...
Ameri-cans...
Puerto Ri-cans...
Mexi-cans...
By the way, a lot of prepositions can be avoided altogether if you simply reword your sentence. "What was that for," is the same as, "Why did you do that," am I right? "The situation we're in is dire," could be changed to "Our situation is dire." "Where are you at" is an abomination--you're wasting your breath, and the number of times the word "at" can be used before catastrophe strikes is NOT looking good. What's wrong with, "Where are you?" I'm not sure if propositions that complete verbs (hanging up a phone, bowing down before Bird Person) count...

Really? send me a picture and maybe I know her. Or just tell me her name. But I probably don't know her.

Depends, how cute is this Kylie? ;)
Kidding, no, don't know anyone by that name. :P
-
Britain. :)
-
So Britain is officially the 51st United State?
-
Ack, no. I meant that I put "Different Country."
-
So Britain is officially the 51st United State?
Dude, you know what he meant.
-
If Markio made that same statement, everyone would applaud him. |:(
-
Yeah...
-
If Markio made that same statement, everyone would applaud him. |:(
Yeah, actually you're right. I'm sorry I even made the comment.
-
Actually, I don't find Markio's brand of humor funny, either.
It's more tolerable than Glorb's, though.
-
Am I the only one here living in the Bluegrass? Seems like it. :(
-
Yes, and I'm south of the border.
