It's a constitutional monarchy.
Population: A bunch
Currency: coins.
Market (I think)
Apparently women can do anything men can(even though most female toads seem to be housewives)
Life expectancy: most people live for one or two games. Toad (THE toad) has been around since the beginning and is still there, if that tells you anything.
There don't seem to be any schools, though every toad, so far, knows how to read.
There are seven subdivisions of the mushroom kingdom, each ruled by its own king, but they all answer to Peach.
They speak english.

I might be Sadib...

Here's what I thought up:
1. Traditional Monarchy
2. Population totaling 3 million+
3. Coin, 84 equals one U.S. dollar?
4. possibly socialist (not communist) economy?
5. I don't have an answer
6. Don't have much of an answer for that one either
7. Literacy rate is approx. 99% (according to education ministry), attendance is compulsory from ages 6 to 16 (rumor has it that the Mushroom goverment is trying to increase the dropout age to above 18).
8. I already knew that
9. Languages: English, Japanese, Mushroni (made-up), local dialects
