Now THERE'S a title you don't expect to see.

A radio station in Ecuador (http://www.radiocity.com.ec/) is doing a show on the Mario game series today, as part of their entertainment show ("El Aguacate" - The Avacado).  They wanted someone from TMK to talk with them today, and it appears I'm the lucky party.

So, if you are in Ecuador, tune in from 5-8pm Ecuadorian time (3-6pm PST) to hear yours truly speaking... I'm not sure exactly when I'll be on, but it should be closer to the 5:30-6:00PST segment.

Now to go brush up on my Mario...
Let's do the Mario, all together now!

Or if you don't live in Ecuador, tune into mms://200.105.233.16/rCity on Winamp!

I do hope someone records this. I don't see how it can't end in hilarity.

Okay it's over. David told that SMB1 was most significant because it invented platformers but SMB3 was better and really refined the gameplay. He said that his favorite character is Luigi because you play as him less and he's better because he jumps higher. [One of the hosts: "I've been saying the same thing!"] Then they asked about the Bros.'s last name and David said Miyamoto surely doesn't care but the grammar of the name seems to suggest Mario is the last name. He said you could basically argue either way. Then they said "Thank you David. BYE."

Now they're playing Pac-Man Fever. R O F L!

Truly an epic moment in TMK history.

...and here it is!

I have it on Megaupload for now. If anyone wants to put it on a real webspace, feel free to do so.

Yeah, I was impressed with the lower pitched guy's English.

This is an event to go down in the history books.

Congratulations!!!!!!
The Mario series is the best! It has every genre in video games but RTS'! It also has a plumber who does different roles, a princess, and a lot of odd creatures who don't seem to poop!
