Here are the 5 best guitar parts from throughout the GH/RB games:
5. Play With Me (GH:80s)
4. Impulse (GH3)
3. Jessica (GH2)
2. Freebird (GH2)
1. Sin Wagon (RB DLC)
-
Haven't played 4 or 1 myself, but I've seen them in action and fully agree with all of them. Now I feel like setting up the PS2 just to play the three I can.
-
Is this just a statement of correctness or a discussion? I enjoy 4, 3, 2, and haven't played 5 or 1. I'm a fan of Train Kept Rollin' from Rock Band (Although I've never played Aerosmith). The entire final tier of GH1, especially Texas Flood, has a place in my heart too. My Name is Jonas is fairly fun too.
-
Beat It by Michael Jackson is the best song for all instruments and the best song in all the games. The only place for them to go from there is Thriller.
-
Freebird sucks.
-
Actually you may be right. I haven't played it in a very long time so it might not stand up in the current environment. Pending...
-
Replace it with Less Talk More Rokk (GH2).
-
4. Impulse (GH3)
Should be #2 or something. Impulse rocks.
And Why isn't the Stephen Colbert song #1?
-
That might make top 5 for vocals but it's very low for guitar.
-
I've played Impulse a few times in the last couple of days and it definitely deserves its spot in the list, if not higher. Also, I think if I was making a list based solely on what I've played, I'd put Gemini and Less Talk More Rokk in there somewhere (taking out Freebird and the song I haven't played).
Question for LD that only includes GH2, Encore, GH3, and Aerosmith: What would you say are the top five co-op songs?
Second question for LD for the other three games: Top five bass, drum, and vocal parts?
-
Top five drum parts:
Enter Sandman (Rock Band)
-
Visions?
-
Nine Inch Nails - March Of The Pigs (RB DLC)
If only for its confusingness.
-
Where's Thunderhorse on this list? It's a load of fun.
-
Green Grass and High Tides.
How can anybody not love doing this on guitar?
-
Me. I don't love it.
