I have some rather distressing news about the future of Nintnedo GameCube...

My cousin told me that Nintendo GameCube will be the VERY LAST system to be made by Nintendo...

Simply stated: Nintendo will not make any more systems after the GameCube... This means that Nintendo will eventually have the same fate as Sega! Sega has decided to quit the DreamCast and make games for other companies; Nintendo may suffer the same fate in the years to come...

Now we don't have to cry just yet, my cousin told me that this is not likely to happen for another 4 to 5 years... So we have plenty of time to enjoy the great games Nintendo has to offer!

Mama mia! It''s-a me, Mario Maniac!
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

Oh dear.  Nintendo has always made excellent systems, with breathtaking Mario titles.  What will become of TMK?  We will have a first...and last Mario game!  Then maybe, we can just rate classic games.  Ah well, I'm sure GBA and NGC will keep us occupied for a long time too come...

Your cousin has some weird friends, Mario Maniac... I really doubt Nintendo will stop making consoles and games.

But if by some chance I have to break my loyalty to Nintendo one day, I guess these are the games I'd get from other systems, in alphabetical order (you may wish to beat me senseless afterwards):

Bomberman Online (DC)
Heard about it just now. The thought of it makes me eager to get it.

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future (Dreamcast)
everybody says the control sucked, but I'd like to try it.

F-Zero X, 64DD version from Japan
I'd like to try the track editor!

Gran Turismo 1, 2, or 3 (PS, PS2)
I like racing games, so there.

Halo (X-Box)
I ADMIT IT! Everybody says it's so great anyway.

Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland (PS2)
There are some series you just can't pass up.

Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2)
Got to try it someday, right?

Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PC)
I figure you can't go wrong with Wolfenstein.

Any game for Sega Genesis or Dreamcast (Genesis, DC)
I have always considered Sega a rival, until now. I think it's about time I see what they had to hold their own back then.

Unreal (PC)
Self-explanatory, I would think.

Ok, now you may throw stuff at me, please nothing made of metal or leftover anything.

I doubt this is Nintendo's last system. Why would they stop making new systems? Where did your cousin get this info?

Actually, I think it's true.  But never fear.  I hear they're making graphic enhancers, and the GBA will probably get a chip that'll make it 64-bit.  But who knows?

I WANNA TRY LUIGI'S MANSION BADLY!

Hello kids!
Only you can prevent false rumors!

[Think people...why would Nintendo announce their console retirement scant days after their Gamecube debut? To encourage people to by Nintendo's "last" system? I don't think so. Maybe your cousin will tell you how to get Luigi on Mario 64...]
