Infinium Labs, a Tampa Bay technology company, announced plans to create a high-performance game console to compete with the X-Box, PS2, and Gamecube. Some of the feature's that set this system apart from past consoles are:

Game Rentals
Different subscriptions for casual, moderate, and hardcore gamers
Whether Infinium Labs can make good on these promises and lure developers is still to be seen. One of the major features mentioned in the release is "Cross Platform capabilities."
