We've been without power at home for two days now; we've been staying at a family friend's house, since they got power back a couple of hours after it went out. Hopefully we'll go home later to find it's back.

I hope my teachers will accept "act of God" as a reason if I can't get my assignments this week done, since I don't have access to a computer with Office 2007 on it, and the campus has been closed since Monday evening (eliminating the canned "come here and use our computers" response).

I'm getting a little angsty because I called last Monday to get a wireless router, and it hasn't come in yet. True, the weather may have something to do with it, but it's been over the 3-5 business days the woman on the phone told me.

Downloaded some Madoka today and it took nearly half and hour because [gg] only puts up the biggest HD encodes and I'm too cheap to pay for faster downloading on those DDL sites. [dukar]sux.

A file I downloaded yesterday was less than fifty megabytes and took well over an hour to download. And the download stopped near the end, so I had to start it over again.

You should try using satellite before you complain about a ~500MB file taking half an hour to download.

the high school i applied for sent me a letter saying that i was ineligible because they didn't get my papers (recommendations, etc.), but i am certain they got them because we handed them in and they said that was okay and they would accept it like that and there might be nothing we can do about it at this point and i may end up having to go to a [dukar]ty school
