Almost a year ago, Ars Technica published a short story about Gary Kitchen's port of Donkey Kong to the Atari 2600.  The story is excerpted from the book Arcade Perfect: How Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, and Other Coin-Op Classics Invaded the Living Room by David L.
