ANyway, C. W. is likely better than me at CHARACTERS of YI... I am more of a level knowledge person.
This proves it: Luigi is the truly neglected Mario character.

Sorry, I hadn't really noticed that I had left out Luigi. I actually HAD included him. The problem was that I was bringing this from one computer to another via floppy disk, and the disk had cut out everyone up to the SMBSS characters. So I retyped them in, and I guess Luigi just slipped away. But I guess that would be a good reason for why this thread is titled "THE (in)COMPLETE MARIO CHARACTER LIST".
PS. The reason Wooster is so neglected is because he's not in any game in particular.

Do you think I am shallow enough to base my thought on solely one thing?? I have seen many instances of Luigi's neglect far before I joined... and that honest error seems to be a strange yet cruel coincidence.
I seriously looked through that list and saw a lot of names I didn't recognize. It is a very impressive list.

HOLY SH... How could you remember such a long list of character names? You must be the ultimate Mario fanatic to remember all those characters! I don't even recognize many of those characters (especially from the Mario cartoons, since I haven't watched them since I was younger than 10 years old)...

He didn't remember them all, I bet. It wouldn't be too hard to COMPILE a list... but it woule be difficult to REMEMBER a list that size.

To answer the question of "who is Gadd's grandson?", I'll tell you. He stands near the shrinkable trampoline in Noki Bay (or whichever level). Hey, Super Yoshi, if you were able to edit my message to say that Gadd's grandson is unknown, how come you couldn't edit Luigi into the list?

The Dino Riders appeared in the Super Mario World cartoon episode "Born to Ride". I'm pretty sure it was a coincidence that DiC just happened to name one of them after the Japanese counterpart of Mega Man. As for KAOS, he is the robot that K. Rool made in Donkey Kong Country 3.

I read yesterday that they released Rockman&Forte in Japan on GBA... man, if they don't release it here, I'm gonna have to import that one. And I haven't thought of any more Mario characters... do you have the Wrecking Crew enemies in there?

Actually, this character list was inspired by the one at DKVine.com. And since my list also applies to the Mario cartoons, why not have it apply to the DKC games and cartoon?

One question: Why are there Banjo-kazooie characters in there? Last time I checked, Banjo-kozooie had nothing to do with Mario.

Actually, we first meet Banjo in Diddy Kong Racing, and Diddy is Donkey Kong's friend (duh) so, yes, they do have to do with Mario somewhat.

Yes, the DKC series is entirely separate from Mario. It seems to take place in the future.
But WHY was Tricky in Diddy Kong Racing?
