I know the game was just released, but I am stuck at Trunkel and cannot beat him.  Does anyone (that has gotten that far) have any suggestions?

Ok, this thread is for posting any info you have on the e-reader cards for the game.

I already know that there are two series of cards out, but are there any more series coming?

How many cards are there in all?

Mario Chat / MG:TT On-line Tours and H-in-1 mode.

On the title screen press "Z" while pressing "Start" and a new option will appear.  There are two online tours going on right now, the Hollywood Video and Target Tours.  I do not know the codes though.

Mario Chat / Homemade Game Genie Codes

Ever play your NES with a Game Genie and try to put in random codes to see what it would do?  Well this was created to see what interesting effects people got when they tried certain codes.  I have some of my own, but I can't find them right now, so I will post some strange ones later.  In the mean time, anyone out there is encouraged to contribute their findings on this forum.

This is a test-type thing that someone made to rate yourself on how accomplished you are at the Mario games that have come out on GCN so far.  The grading should be self-explainatory.


Mario Exam:

Luigi's Mansion:
     Rank A = 135
     Rank B = 130
     Rank C = 125
     Rank D = 120
     Rank E = 115
     Rank F = 110
     Rank G = 105
     Rank H = 100

     Gold Portaits: 5 pts. each.
     Silver Portraits: 3 pts. each.
     Bronze Portraits: 1 pt. each.

     Total 250 pts.



Super Mario Sunshine:
     Number of Shines x 2 pts.
          (i.e. 120 shines = 240 pts.)
     Sunglasses = 5 pts.
     Tropical Shirt = 5 pts.

     Total = 250 pts.


Super Smash Bros. Melee:
     One point per trophy.

     Total = 290 pts.


Mario Party 4:
     There are 60 presents total.
     Number of presents x 3
     (i.e. 60 presents = 180 pts.)
     The surprise section without a pedistal is worth 30 pts.

     Total = 210 pts.




Grand Total 1000 pts.


*My score is an 866.    (250 + 218 + 290 + 108 = 866)

I have 283 trophies and would like to know how anyone got this one.

I need to get over 20 combos in training mode to get one.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have looked everywhere for info on Marth and Roy, but have found nothing.  I can't even find them in the Fire Emblem games.  Are these just the American versions of their names? or am I just not looking in the right places?

I am trying to find sprites from Paper Mario if anyone cares to help or give me info.  I also have a new site up at www.angelfire.com/music5/maestro/index.html.  If anyone is looking for midi files, then I have the best midis I have heard yet, and others will be up shortly.

For those people that were looking for mario music, I have found a great way to get it.  Just download any midi file and open it with PrintMusic!, Allegro, or Finale(unsure about notepad)  It will show the music with every track and which instruments the sequencer deemed necessary.  This is much easier than writing your own music.  A good place for midis is www.vgmusic.com.
