No, he's making a perfectly valid point. You are the last person who should be making claims about Limbo.

It's no better than this.

Someone please tell me when the [dukar] it became illegal to ever say anything about a game you don't own.

Ever since people have been trying to sound superior by making big deals out of other peoples' (perceived) slip-ups.

Of course, that doesn't mean it's always a good idea to complain about stuff you've never experienced.

Calling out someone for saying "this game sucks (because ____)" about something they've never played, I get, but it sometimes seems like any preemptive judgments whatsoever get jumped on. The reason I didn't preface anything I said with "from what I've seen, it looks like..." is because I would hope that, to anyone who learned about the inherent different between opinions and facts, it speaks for itself, in the same way I don't list "Earth, Milky Way Galaxy" as part of my address.

My thing is I hate it when people think they know what they're talking about, but they really don't. Which happens a lot on these forums. I've even done it myself, but not much anymore because I realized how stupid it is.

The point is, it's perfectly OK to preface your comments with "I've heard this" or "It sounds like that" in order to avoid sounding like you know things you don't. Especially when you reveal the fact that you don't actually know things in the very same post.

I realize it was supposed to be a joke or sarcastic or whatever, but I'm a big fan of Braid and I felt like defending its integrity from stuff like that.

I wasn't going to perpetuate the issue but whatever.

I loved the first Kane & Lynch, but I have not looked at any of the Info for the second one yet. I wonder if there's any hesitation towards reviewing this one, after what happened with the first.

Kane & Lynch 2's demo was the [dukar]; I enjoyed the cornea-scratching amount of grit, which actually felt genuine instead of being a bullet point on the box ("gritty urban combat!!!!!!").

The single-facial expression pedestrians were a bit of a turnoff, though. Also, I wonder if Kane's hallucinations from the first game (which I never actually got to experience due to lack of a coop partner) will carry over into this game.
