I have finally decided to create a topic!
Let's face it: there are a lot of things we want to happen to the Mario franchise, but can't do ourselves. So here's a topic for posting what you want to happen to the Mario franchise.
Here's my ideas:
-Make another Wario Land.
-Instead of churning out spinoffs, release them on one disk(a la Wiisports).
-Remake the first three Mario Parties on one disk and leave it at that.
-Make a Mario Kart with 100 playable characters and 100 items.
-Make Mario & Luigi 3 featuring Wario and Waluigi.
-Make a whole new Mario RPG series(preferably one that spoofs Final Fantasy).
-Bring back Stanley the Bugman and Foreman Spike.
-Bring back the bosses from Wario's Woods(they have untapped potential).
-Make a Mario fighting game(parody of Street Fighter or Tekken).
-Give Toad his own game(action/adventure/platformer, not puzzle).
-Give Bowser his own game.
-Make another Mario anthology(including the NES,SNES and Game Boy series, all with updated graphics).

I'd slow WAY down on the sports/party titles. Focus way more on 3D adventures, sidescrollers and RPGs. I'd get a line of sweet Mario action figures out there, and also start recruiting talent to make a really well-done Super Mario Bros. animated movie.
I'd obliterate Waluigi and Bowser Jr., because I find them to be awful characters. The Koopalings would have prominent villain roles, and Wario would be a little more evil than he has been lately, perhaps even return to his role as a final boss for a Mario game (though this would have no bearing on the excellent Wario Ware games, of course). Daisy wouldn't be completely destroyed, but she'd be a little less prominent, because she kind of sucks. Donkey Kong Jr. wouldn't replace Diddy, but they'd co-exist.

Yay! The Chef finally made his own topic! Well, anyway, I would have a new Super Mario Movie made. (Mabye even give Luigi a stache' and have the bros. rescue peach, and have bowser and the goombas not human.) And I would make a sequel to SMRPG.

Remake SMRPG for the GBA or DS, for His sake!!!!!!!!!!
End the Mario Party series (they're good, but too numerous).
Make the next Mario Kart much more intense (200cc or even 500cc like Ultima Shadow suggested)
Luigi's own game that doesn't involve Mario getting kidnapped
Turn The Prophecy into a game if possible...
Bring back the Mario Got Milk? commercial!
SSB for the DS would come much sooner, and I'd play a huge role in its creation
Hire someone to make a good Mario cartoon in 3D animation, that goes along with the game series (like the Pokemon show, only not anime and even more closely related to the games)
If not a show, an M&L:SS movie followed by an M&L:PiT movie would do fine if they were good.
Put a stopper in the spinoff faucet, it's been dripping for far too long (though Mario Laser Tag Online would be the best Wii multiplayer game ever)

Hooray! People posted in my topic!
I have a few other things to add:
-Make another Game & Watch Gallery with all the ones not playable on the previous editions.
-Make another game that takes place in Sub-con. With Wart as the final boss and maybe appearances by the Doki Doki Panic characters.
-Make a Gradius/Twinbee-style Mario space shooter that retells the plot of SML, with Tatanga as the final boss.
-Make a new platformer that combines elements from ALL the Super Mario games. It could have SMB3/SMW-type graphics and be made for the Wii, which could allow it to be enormous.
-Give Yoshi his own 3D platformer.
-A better Super Mario 64 remake. It would have the same graphics as the original and Mario would still be the only character. The only difference is that there would be twice as many stages and stars, the castle would be larger and the secret of "L is Real 2401" would finally be revealed...

1.Kill Waluigi! I hate him.
2.Stop Mario Party.
3.Stop all the spinoffs, except for kart.
4.Make better Yoshi platformers.
5.Make more Morio RPG's, all of them rock.
6.Release plug and play NES style thingies.
7.More Mario platformers!
8.Lastly, a better Official Mario website, in fact I would hire Deezer to make it! TMK is awesome.

I'd make 20 million more spinoffs to release in the following 3 years, collect the money, and retire to a mansion in California, thereby marking the end of the Mario Franchise.
I'd also cancel upcoming games, such as Super Paper Mario, Mario Hoops 3-on-3, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. When asked why, I'd simply reply " I felt they were getting in the way of my vision. " Once people rebel, I'd simply sell Mario clothing, such as Mario gloves, Mario boots, and Mario overalls. ( Truth is, people actually buy that stuff. )

If you did that, I would hate you forever and send you approx. 7 hatemails per day until one of us die.

I'm not sure if you could stop Mario Hoops 3 on 3, Square's making it and you wouldn't be.

If I found I had control of the Mario franchise, I'd drive it into a store. Instead of saying, "Hey! You jerk, you crashed into my store!" They'd say "Hey! You jerk, you crashed the Mario franchise into my store!" Worth it for the extra two words.

I'm not sure if you could stop Mario Hoops 3 on 3, Square's making it and you wouldn't be.
I'd sue them for " bringing my characters in a negative light. "

How is it negative? It's just Mario and friends...playing Basketball.

Put Waluigi in an actual adventure game!
Give the spin-off titles a rest for some time.
Make more full-fledged adventure games.
Maybe make another New SMB-type game, but add a few more things that could improve it (Yoshi, SMB2 stuff, etc.).
Implement Donkey Kong and Wario into the Mario series more.

This is a great topic. If I had control of the Mario Franchise............
1. I'd get rid of Peach. (Or at least make her tougher.)
2. Mario would have some serious super-powers. (Big explosion type energy ball thingie)
3. Waluigi would have his own game.
4. I'd have more games where Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Wario team up.
5. Stronger enemies besides weak-as-poop goombas.
6. Mabey a tad more violent. (Mario with guns is a little rough, but some blood wouldn't be bad)
7. I'd also rid the universe of Birdo.
There's alot I'd do, but these are the top 6.

1. Make a game trilogy where Ludwig Von Koopa makes a dream machine, and Bowser uses it on Mario. Bowser releases Wart into the Mushroom World. Peach rescues Mario. In the second game, in which Luigi would get an actual starring role, Wart kidnaps Daisy in Sarasaland, and Luigi saves Daisy. Third game, a Mario & Luigi-esque RPG, Bowser and Wart team up and capture Peach and Daisy. It's up to the Super Mario Bros. to, once again, save the princesses.
2. Limit the Mario Party games to just one or two games per console generation.
3. Ask Sakurai to include the Baby Mario Bros. in SSBB.

I like how this is holding up.
I thought of a few more:
-Make a new animated Mario movie(maybe base on that old anime flick).
-Get Sega to assist in the making of a Sonic/Mario crossover.
-Make a DK64 remake for the DS.
-Make the Plumbing Academy game that I posted in the New Mario Vldeo Game Ideas thread.
-Settle the arguement on DK's identity.
-Bring back the Koopalings in place of Bowser Jr.

Make an animated series based on the current games (like Sonic X).

I'd put more effort into the games. That's what I'd do! :|

To do list for the Mario Fanchise (if I was in control)
-Make Wario the president of the Mushroom Kingdom
-Make the yellow cape part of Mario's outfit and include a sword (a colorful star sword)
-Make a Mario game where you are the leader of a band (Rock n' Roll in the Mushroom Kingdom
-Start a war between the Mushroom Kingdom and the Koopa Kingdom
-Replace the Mario Party series with a magical mystery tour game (featuring Mario characters) where you travel the world
-Let the Mario Universe take over the world...our world and the rest of the universe
The list goes on and on for me...

If I had control...I would:
--Create another Mario RPG in which Peach becomes evil.
--Send Luigi off to Sarasaland to rescue Daisy.
--Make a game that features the Mario characters travelling to each previous continent: like Sarasaland, Mushroom Kingdom, Wario World, Dinosaur Land, etc.
--Make more 2D platformers.

Why sue them if you're the one making Mario & basketball fans alike happy (and money), without even having to do anything?

I would make:
Super Wario Bros. (where you play as Wario and Waluigi insted of Mario and Luigi)
Super Paper Wario
Super Mario 256 (sequel to Super Mario 128)
New Super Mario Bros. 2
New Super Mario Bros. 3
New Super Mario World
Super Mario Sunshine 2
I would also buy an island and turn it into a real Isle Delfino.

Probably the Pirates of the Carribean one or the Monty Python one.
