Title: Co-Ed Basketball or Soccer Games?
Post by: AbercrombieBaseball on March 22, 2007, 10:15:40 PM
Been a while since I've posted on here, but thought I'd give this a whirl...

Are there any good co-ed basketball or soccer games for the Game Cube?

Depends how true to the sport you're going for.  Super Mario Strikers is a great Mario soccer game, but not exactly realistic.

Hehe, Mario Baseball is not a very good baseball game if you're looking for fast-paced sports action. The players move VERY slow and the balls stay in the air for nearly 10 secs, no matter how hard they're hit. Mario Strikers, while not realistic, is VERY fun to play due to the fast action and over-the-top moves and weapons. The game also features slow-mo passes, which give the game a Matrix-type feeling when used.

If you're looking for real soccer games, then there really isn't much I can do. Mario is kinda what I play no matter the genre, and my favorite sports titles are wrestling and football.

Co-ed? If you literally want a "realistic" GCN basketball or soccer game where the teams are comprised of both sexes, I think you're in for slim pickings. I can't think of one for any system.

The only GCN game that I know of that are good basketball games are NBA 2k6 and 2k5. There is nothing else I can think of that have to do with soccer, except Fifa World Cup. Although I hardly doubt that it is coming to GCN.
